Breakfast was excellent. Front Desk staff helped secure a taxi since we had to leave at 3am for an early flight out of FCO. The location is not ideal, as it is about 12 mins walk to Trevi Fountain, more to Pantheon, Spanish Steps, etc. We didn't use the Metro so proximity to Barberini Station wasnt helpful. It is quieter in the neighborhood and again, fuether walk to shopping areas. I wished we booked somewhere closer. They gave us an unexpectedly bigger room, but there's only 3 of us, so not a big deal. Note that you have to turn-in your room key every time you leave the hotel. It is a heavy manual key, so you wouldn't want to carry it around or risk losing it anyway.

Loved this hotel. The front desk was professional. Vincent was very helpful and informative. There was a small cozy bar area which we enjoyed cocktails and appetizers. This hotel is located one block off Via Veneto - great location. There are high end shops and many restarants within easy walking distance. It is also very close to Borghese Park. We visited the Borghese Gallery and the Etruscan Museum - walked to both. It's also close to the Spanish steps.and a metro stop. This is a small boutique hotel, with nicely updated bathrooms. The breakfast buffet (included in the room price) was EXCELLENT. A big selection of breakfast food, served in a lovely breakfast room (white table cloths), and staffed by friendly, service-oriented people.

An honest review from an American on vacation: The staff is very nice. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient and fresh. I stayed for a week but I would have had a difficult time staying longer. The rooms are clean but we noticed mold on the ceiling. In addition there are real no perks other than the breakfast. No fridge unless you want to purchase items in it from the hotel. It advertises wifi that constantly cuts in and out. There did not seem to be a solution to fix it nor did it seem the staff know how to fix it. The restaurant attached is nice but a little stuffy. It would benefit them greatly if they offered room service and maybe just forget the sit down portion entirely. Overall I recommend the Hotel La Residenza mainly for its location to sites, the comfort and the staff. It would do them good to update a few things.

Das Personal wirkte teilweise genervt, wir machten das Personal darauf aufmerksam das unser Flug stoniert wurde und der neue Flug nun viel früher ist. Da das Frühstück um diese Zeit noch nicht stattfindet haben war nach einer lösung gefragt. Lunchpaket oder das für diesen Tag das Frühstück nicht berechnet wird. Beides wurde mit einem Nein beantwortet. Das Zimmer im Erdgeschoß war schön groß, nur leider roch es unangenehm, dieser geruch kam scheinbar aus dem Bad. Es wirkt insgesamt nicht wie ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Ich würde hier nicht nochmal buchen. Frühstück war ok.

The location was great Close to subway and central. The breakfast and service was awesome Hot and cold breakfast. Lots of variety to eat. Very friendly. The rooms were clean and nice with patio BUT THE ROOM SMELL LIKE SEWER They changed my room same problem I had to close all the plumbing holes with towels and bathroom door in order to sleep and not effect my lungs. If they didn’t jave a smell on 4 th Floor ITS A GREAT PLACE Request lower floor
