Idyllia | Lighty flat with views in Trastevere

"The atmosphere of the medieval village blends with contemporary art in a modern and bright house with enchanting views over the rooftops of Trastevere. The residence, completely renovated and furnished with unique pieces, is located on the fourth floor of a 16th-century building. Guests have at their disposal a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom, a spacious living area consistinof a sitting area with a sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Once you pass through the oak wood door, you enter the spacious living area.

To the left is the sitting area with a comfortable sofa bed from which you can enjoy the wonderful view of the green Gianicolo hill and the Royal Spanish Academy. The sofa bed is completed with a memory foam topper, giving you the feeling of sleeping in a double bed.

For quality relaxation: a 1970s turntable, a small selection of vinyl records, a smart TV with access to Netflix and Apple TV, all connected to a high-definition audio system.

To the right is the fully equipped kitchen area.
A large table with dual functionality, perfect for a candlelit dinner and a bright desk for smart working. During the day, the alley is very quiet, and you might be serenaded by the sound of an accordion coming from nearby osterias.

In the vintage bookcase, you'll find the limited edition of the Monocle volume dedicated to Italy.

Moving past the living area, you'll find the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The sleeping area is separated by a modern sliding door.

From the comfortable double bed, you can enjoy the chimneys of medieval buildings standing against the blue sky of Trastevere.

In the resin-covered bathroom, the architect's ingenuity gives us a pirate-like porthole... we won't reveal more...

Other things to note:

The house is located on the fourth floor WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR.

The bathroom in the apartment is inside the bedroom. It does not have a bidet but a handheld shower.

As sweet and sleepy as the neighborhood is during the day, it comes alive in the evening. The windows have double soundproof glass, but if you are used to absolute silence when sleeping, please take this into account."
