Lovely hotel. Cocktails in the bar were great and friendly barman. We enjoyed breakfast we did not eat in the restaurant in the evening was not a very varied menu.

Poor quality bathroom
The room was a deluxe room #500, the bathtub shower was horrible, an old fashion claw tub but the shower curtain did not go around hole tub , causing water everywhere. I stated 1/21/24 to 1/27/24. I was going back in next month Feb 28 but based on this experience I will not

It is a very odd property. The hallways look like a college dorm and the rooms have two levels so hard with luggage. The breakfast is a joke, always out of eggs, water and coffee machines broke at least every day. Good location and very helpful staff, set your expectations and you'll enjoy!

NOT a 5 star hotel. Good location, so not complaints there. Very old rooms with no extra amenities. We reserved a suite. Check in was a nightmare, waited almost 2 hours for room to be ready. Husband has limited mobility with stairs which the suite they put us in had. They were very narrow and cumbersome to ascend even for me. They were accommodating and moved us. However, they moved us to a room IMO they no longer used for guests (bedroom/Bathroom only). The Tub/ shower combination had paint splatters in it that required at least a 30 inch step up to get into the tub, with NO shower curtain. Only comped the price $45. It was a place to stay, but no where near worth the price we paid as this is a VERY DATED hotel. The restaurant was subpar, breakfast was not worth the extra we paid per day. I would not recommend.

Any kind of review is helpful in improving our service and guest experience, allowing us to better understand the source of the problems you encountered. We are concerned about your dissatisfaction; it is always disappointing when we do not live up to the high expectations we set for the hotel and ourselves. All our staff love to take care of all our guests. First of all, I would like to specify that we are a 4-star hotel (as stated on all major Internet portals and in any signs and licenses inside the facility). Regarding your room, when you booked, you should have read that all our suites are duplexes. To accommodate her needs, we moved her to a deluxe room, but evidently the helpfulness of our staff is not always understood. Even for her, it is not a room we give to guests, since it has only the bedroom and bathroom.... We are sorry to hear that it did not meet your expectations. We would like to thank you once again for choosing us and we hope that you will give Hotel La Griffe a second chance in the future, perhaps in the right spirit and reading well what you book.Kind regards

Hotel is a bit dated from the 90's with strange paint effects on the floor and the shower floor was seriously peeling but overall a pleasant hotel. Super central and was friendly. The roof top bar was nice.

We arrived at the hotel and the staff was excellent. Very friendly, hospitable, and willing to assist us with everything (booking taxis, advice on places to go, etc.) We were disappointed with the room as it looked nothing like the photos. The room was very poorly maintained, there were many issues with the bathroom and electric, everything looked ratty and old. The stay was not cheap so we expected more and we thought we’d get a renovated room like the photos. The area was convenient, however.

Plesant experience, the staff was very helpful and super friendly. They made you feel at home and were more then helpful in arranging reservations for dining and transportation. The breakfast buffet was a pretty simple repetitive arrangement. The staff in dining were very welcoming. The only downside was that although they say they have AC, dont count on it. They did bring us a fan to help with the heat. Overall a nice place to stay right in the middle of all the action.

The design of the hotel room and bathroom was bizzarre. Very 1980s’s, A tub/ shower combination that had paint splattered in it and required a 30 inch step up to get into the tub. The back of the only chair was broken. The bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet. The front desk staff were exceptional.

Great location and excellent service. The reception staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a marvellous stay. The rooftop bar with the view over the city was the cherry on top. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family.

The hotel staff was so helpful and welcome, a special thanks has to go to Tania and her delicious breakfast. Location was key to move around by walk! Terrace view in stunning. Bed was very comfy and the room specious. Can't wait to come back to Rome and this amazing hotel.
