The property location was great for us -- while it was within a walking distance from several major historical sites, it was not very touristy and we had a chance to live like locals. There was everything we needed right next door -- decent restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and an open air market. Several bus stops very within a block. I only wish that the metro station was a bit closer, but after all this is Rome and metro lines are not always close by. The apartment itself was ok. It had plenty of space and had everything we needed (even more), but I wish it was less cluttered. I also found that certain things needed to be replaced or upgraded.

Well equipped but space for meal prep and washing dishes was somewhat limited. Bedroom and lounge areas spacious. Didn’t use the laundry as there was no clothes dryer. Nicely decorated. Having the lift was very helpful. Lovely courtyard view from windows. Building was secure and quiet. Host was very responsive. Host arranged return to airport transport by van which was on time and very comfortable. Location was near buses and trams which we used a lot, and it was a 20 minute walk to Pirimide metro station which we also used. A transit pass is a great idea, which can be purchased at the Metro ststion. .

Near terminus bus station and very easy to go everywhere and come back using only 1 bus Lot of small groceries/coffee shops. Quiet place and it has the facilities WIFI GREAT

Pleasant Stay

Very nice location in a much quieter neighborhood. We enjoyed being away from the noise but able to hop on a bus and quickly get into the touristy areas. The apartment itself was very well equipped and comfortable. We had a great stay and would recommend this neighborhood for future guests.

Live Like an Italian!

Great location! Close to the Testacchio Market.It is a great apartment, incredibly well stocked. Loved the area. Davide was an incredible host, so very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely, Clean place to explore Rome

This property was clean and roomy. The host met us at the property with the keys and was very lovely. This was a great location for us to explore Rome. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I'd recommend staying here!

Great apartment in a great location

Apartment had everything we needed Carmela met us and showed us round and was very helpful Area was great with lots of restaurants It's a 20 minute walk from Ostiense Station and is pretty central for sightseeing We were able to walk to all the main sights from there

When in Roma

We loved our stay. It is in a quaint location and is easy to get to. Very walkable and there is a convenient bus stop nearby to get to Trastevere or the center of Roma. Toiletries are provided and there is a laundry machine. Overall a great stay.

Great stay

Loved the place . Neighborhood was great. Good restaurants all within walking distance . Sites a bit further away but used metro until we figured out the bus was so much closer. Transport arranged by our host was also very good, prompt . Would I stay here again ? Absolutely.

Wonderful!

The apartment was very nice, and the location was great. Very close to public bus making it easy to get around Rome. Many good restaurants nearby and the BEST cappuccino right around the corner. Carmela was very helpful and suggested a good restaurant for our first night. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic apartment

We were so happy to have chosen this very lovely apartment!! It was well equipped for cooking and enjoying meals in, much better than most apartments!! Everything was clean and comfortable!! The host went above and beyond welcoming us and making sure we understood how to work everything!! I would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to friends planning a trip to Rome!!

Fantastic stay in Rome

Very clean property that feels like home. Check in process they meet you at the property to make sure you are settled. At first I was unsure if there was enough room for the five of us, but as long as your okay sharing a pull out couch, then yes there is enough room. Location was fantastic - not too touristy so you get to experience the local Roman culture while having a short bus ride to the main attractions. Also very good value for the price we paid. Overall I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Stay in Rome

The owner’s son, Davide, was welcoming and very helpful. The apartment was clean and well stocked with all the amenities. The best part of this place is the location. It is a short bus ride to all the sights but the neighborhood itself is not full of tourists. It was nice to get away from all the craziness after a day of sightseeing. There are many excellent restaurants nearby. We tried all of the owner's recommendations and they were all excellent. I would return if I visit Rome again.

A real taste of Rome

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We needed to go Fiera di Roma on the airport train line every day for 10 days and it was a pleasant 20 minute walk to Ostiense station. It was about 20 minute walk to the area of Coliseum and Forum. The Testaccio neighbourhood is wonderful with a convenient grocery store and many restaurants. All of our communications with the host were easy and useful.

Excellent location for transport (bus). Had everything we needed. Bed comfortable. Shower small but worked well. Nice to have a lounge. Air con good. Only issue was the external courtyard lightning that stays on, made it bright all night. Could do with black out curtains. Enjoyable stay.

Nice Neighborhood

We loved our apartment in the Testaccio district of Rome. There were many cafes, grocery stores and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Don’t miss the Testaccio Market. It was very close and we were able to walk there. So much to see, eat and experience. Check the hours before you go they close earlier than we expected and aren’t open on Sunday. The apartment was clean, well-stocked, and centered in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Our host was easy to reach and very helpful! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay in a beautiful Roman neighborhood

This property really wowed us! Davide and Carmela are exceedingly kind, conscientious, and helpful people. The neighborhood is gorgeous and very convenient, with shops, grocery stores, transit access, parks, and the iconic Tiber river just steps away. The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious, and clean. By far our favourite place that we stayed during our trip around Italy. Davide gave us some wonderful recommendations we otherwise might not have tried, and we always got a timely response if we had any questions. We really look forward to booking this apartment and staying here again. Davide and Carmela truly have a real Roman gem with this apartment.

Good location

The apartment was as descibed and served our needs well. It was clean and we liked the layout. The garbage/recycling situation could've have been better explained. Look for recycling bins in the park and do not use the bins next to restaurants. We were surprised to be charged an accommodation tax upon arrival as we assumed that it was included in the price. We had to pay 6 Euro/person/night for it in cash. Overall present stay!!

So charming!

Carmella could not have been more accommodating! She allowed early checkin so we could drop our bags and change since we arrived early in the day. The apartment was very clean upon arrival and right in the middle of a residential area which was much preferred over the touristy parts of Rome. So many walkable restaurants to choose from each evening and many cafes to enjoy coffee and breakfast before walking to Piramide station 10-15 min away. Couple of grocery stores within a block or two as well. Lots of activity with kids playing in the park across the street. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

firstly the apartment is really centrally located moments away from many busses in a very safe area with restaurants and the testaccio market only steps away. the kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking. the washing machine was really appreciated and a large stand was provided for hanging the laundry. the apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. the host’s mother was welcoming and did her best to help as we went to their other property by picking us up. the only problem was the shower did not drain well. other than that it was avery comfortable quiet stay

Great neighborhood find

If you are looking for a nice, quiet place to stay, this is it. The food in the area was fantastic. Communication with the owner was easy and we had no problems.
