We loved our stay - the room was very comfortable and bed was king size. Breakfast was good and accommodated vegans. Our dog was very welcome and they even offered a doggie breakfast! Staff were very friendly.
Warm welcome, super friendly staff. Comfy room and bed in slighty creaky but charming building. Great quality breakfast and excellent service. Busy bar and great atmosphere. Free parking and walked around a bustling Ross on Wye. Great stay in King's Head.

Lovely stay
Very clean, close to all amenities, very friendly staff, would definitely recommend
This lovely old coaching inn is so convenient for Ross town centre. I love the sitting room (in winter they have a real fire). The staff are very helpful (offer to carry bags upstairs) and the good is better than excellent. This isn’t my first stay and it won't be my last.
Perfect nice hotel in a good location. If you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor room as the stairs are steep and twisty!!
Breakfast was nice.
Great bed!! Room and bathroom good, bearing in mind this is an old building. Double steep flight of stairs could be problematic for older people. Host is very amenable.
A very good stay. Great location. Plenty of character with period stairs and floors. Would have given 5 stars if the maintenance had been a bit better. Just little things really, all easily fixable. Would certainly recommend for a stay.
Really lovely hotel in the centre of Ross-on- Wye. We brought our dog and she was well catered for too (dog biscuits in the room)! Very quiet night and comfy bed. Great restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
A lovely hotel in the centre of Ross, a nice comfortable room, the staff were very helpful and the food was very good, parking was available at the rear of the hotel and it’s dog friendly.
A lovely stay, including a comfy bed and great breakfast.
We stayed for a lovely evening meal and enjoyed the IPA on tap.
Our little dog was warmly welcomed.
Would recommend.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Generally very nice. Lovely atmosphere in the conservatory where we had our evening meal.
Serving staff very good at dinner and breakfast. Room on the top floor was very hot and fairly dark - but comfortable.
August 25 stay.First time in Ross. Hotel ideally placed for walk into town and also walk down to river but this walk steep so take your time.Hotel I gave excellent, nothing to complain about stay in king size bedroom.Staff helpful and pleasant. What else do you want for a short stay.
