“The host couple of this property were great. We truly enjoyed our weekend. The serenity of the environment was just what we were wanting. We enjoyed the fresh eggs from the resident hens doing their job well. The hosts had great input of things to do in the area. They were very accommodating as far as the check in went. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The complementary snacks were a great touch. Over all this was a great value for a get away.”

“Our stay was great! The house is located in a very nice and well kept neighborhood. The interior of the house was very tasteful decorated and comfortable. It is a real plus to have the extra basement bathroom. If we are in the area again we would definitely stay here.”

“The cabin is beautiful; made by the Amish. We were there during a snow storm; the hosts were continuously plowing and shoveling the steps for us. The landscape is gorgeous and quiet, the driftless region. We met their cows and horses. So many things to do since it's located among many small towns. Very sweet!”

“We used this property to be our base for a wedding week and it was perfect. The views, layout, entertainment space, multiple options for sleep or meal arrangements and quality kitchen and prep areas was so perfect. The areas for kids in the basement cannot be oversold and kept our small children busy. The garage gave us a great base to load and unload items into for our multiple days stay while supporting the wedding party. The recent snow gave us a winter wonderland to pull up to every night.……

It was far too windy and cold, but we were hoping to use the beautiful fire pit. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, some drinks, and some snacks! Such a nice touch. “The property is very nice plenty of room for large family or big group. House was a little warm because of weather and setting on t-stat But other than the one day that we had other family stop by we didn’t get to spend much time at the house. We did get to enjoy the pool one day. The sauna was a nice hit as well The kitchen upstairs and on the lower level was very handy. All in all we would stay there again for sure if the whole family is able to travel all at once again Thank you to Hans and……
