Warm welcoming & wonderfully located

From the moment we arrived the lights were on, the house was warm, owner knew we'd be on site evening and every detail had been thoughtfully prepared — a true testament to the care of the amazing owner. The home had all the amenities we needed and more, including a spa pool we used every evening to unwind. Its location is unbeatable, just minutes from everything Rotorua has to offer, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and comfort. A truly homely and heartwarming stay — we can’t wait to return!

Lovely Host. He came immediately when we were overenthusiastic with the electronic lock and reset it for us. Beautiful quiet location only a hundred metres from the lake and a kilometre or so from the city centre. The house was unexpectedly huge and very well set up. We will definitely stay again!

Easy drive to town & great for a group

The place was spacious enough and had enough dishes to host at least 6. The location was convenient and was a 5 minute drive into the town centre. We met the owner who was very nice and accomodating. The property was surface level clean and we still felt comfortable, but some areas could use a deep cleaning.

I meet the Host (Very nice person and would highly recommend). The accommodation was more than what I expected and would recommend it to my friends. Did not like the overall cost on my credit card as it was nearly $200.00 due to the exchange rate. I should have looked into it as it was not a NZ website so I had to pay more.

We stay here for a week. The house is modern and very comfortable. The spa was clean, turned on and ready to get into. The kitchen was well equipped, excellent showers. The host, Dharmen, communicated well via email and is very nice man. Everything we needed was there.Visited some geothermals, Gondola, shopping and the 4x4 self drive buggy at Adventure Playground. We would definitely this house.

The bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and living areas were comfortable and spacious. Great indoor/outdoor flow. Some minor maintenance needed - TV in one of the bedrooms was not working, one of the electric blankets was not working, there is an issue with the bedroom door closest to the entrance door. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Not worth the price

When you click the address link it doesnt take you to the property. The actual street name isn't given to you so we had to drive around till we found something that looked like the pictures. Found it eventually but better instructions/an actual address would be appreciated Multiple cockroaches inside including inside the bedroom. Dirty spa - Bugs floating etc Bath in the bedroom/ensuite too dirty to want to use. Disappointed especially for the price.

Good Accommodation

We enjoyed our stay in this excellent accommodation which is situated in a quiet suburb of Rotorua. Everything we required was provided. Something that wasn't shown on the listing is that the accommomodtion is in close proximity to other homes on all four sides. The listing photographs don't make it clear that there is a property directly in front of this one. Outside the large cushion on the exterior seating was ripped along it's length with a towel placed to hide the foam which wasn't very inviting. One of the en suite floor tiles in the shower had multiple splits, so we didn't use it due to concerns about the sharps edges. As there were only two of us it wasn't an issue as we used the main bathroom shower which was excellent. I commented to the host who said he would address this ASAP.

It looked like the property had not been cleaned. Is. Also, we found several cockroaches some dead and some alive. For the money, I would expect it to be cleaner.

Rocking Rotorua

The property was excellent for our short stay. It was in good proximity to the town and attractions. We had a comfortable stay and with being pet friendly our puppy enjoyed his holiday too!
