"Good location. Proximity to Eat Street and Lake Rotorua. Wonderful views. Property is well equipped with facilities such as pool and spa. Staff are friendly, especially the breakfast team. Praises to the ladies at the breakfast area, hardworking, polite and welcoming. Property and rooms are very tired, needing renovation throughout all rooms."

"The Alpin staff were so friendly and efficient, check in was super simple and allocated parks outside each apartment were great. Overall it was as advertised, but I found a few short hairs stuck to the wall and some rubbish under the bed, and there was a funky smell in the lounge that wasn't sulphur -- I suspect the freezer as it was quite unclean. The lighting is super cold and clinical. The room got nice and warm with a strong radiator which was a plus in the winter and the bed was super big and cozy. The toilet was automatic and fancy but the shower head didn't attach well and kept falling off which was annoying. The tub outside looked super lush in the pics but you had to fill it up yourself which was a bit of a let down. Overall a fine stay."
"Didn’t have to leave the premises for a relaxing overnight getaway in Winter. Comfortable room, beautiful decor, had a delicious meal at the restaurant on site, relaxed in the hot pool at night under the stars and again first thing in the morning. Booked the private sauna and pool. Professional staff, perfect location."
