“It was a bit tricky to find since it is hidden behind a hotel. Google maps took us to the right parking lot (Waterfront Inn) - just go all the way to the back. If you like the natural wood look, you will love this cabin. Just about perfect but missing some little details like wall hooks in bathroom/bedroom, a broom for sand on the porch, etc. Easy walk to Arnold ferry and downtown shops. “Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! Access to the amenities of the nearby hotels was also a nice bonus, although some of the hotel facilities are a bit dated and have some deferred maintenance. “We had a lovely stay with our family of 8 and our pup. The lakefront location was wonderful (don’t miss out on the beautiful sunsets and excellent late night star gazing) and the cabin had all the amenities we needed. The cabin was a bit difficult to find at night if you’re driving in for the first time. The location was great and not too far away from the neighboring cities. Thanks for allowing our family to stay, we would surely come back! ”

“We had a good overall experience at this cabin/cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched my expectations for the price. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and hassle-free. The location was cool, kind of on a peninsula, and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom was tight but functional. It was close enough to what we wanted to do. We did not utilize the water at all but it was nice viewing the lake in our downtime. I would stay here again. ”

“Cabin in the woods! Seclusion, peace. Simple, uncluttered. The space was relaxing , practical and functional to use with ease, important if youre cooking all your meals. Good spot for our dogs. The house/yard on one side was close enough to see the yard through the trees but otherwise, very secluded. Great location to explore the NW corner of lower Michigan. Great trail into the woods in back. One of us gets ill from perfumes so we had to put the scented trash bags outside and sub our own……
