“The hostel is in a wonderful position and it's a grand old building. We really enjoyed staying here. We had a private room and it was very large. The shared toilets and showers were all very clean. Our only disappointment was the food. We chose to have dinner when we arrived. You pre order and then go to the dining room at a pre arranged time. Well the fish and chips were just pulled out of a warming draw and had obviously been there for ages. Even though we were five minutes early for our……

“As we visited in the month of May , it was cold and we had to beg to have the heat turned on. Once it was,it was comfortable. I do not think that the rooms have seen any updating since the 1970’s…the room furniture was not in good shape. The hotel is well situated overlooking Loch Lomond and easy to get anywhere. This breakfast was great!”

“Unique little inn in the Scottish countryside. There is a bar downstairs which closes at 10:30. Friendly staff and although small the room was very clean and inviting. Would be happy to stay again!”

“Sauberes Zimmer, Super Frühstück, Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hilfe gab es auch bei der Restaurantreservierung. Im Zimmer selbst gibt es eine große Tee und Kaffeebar, sowie 2 Sessel in denen man sehe gemütlich sitzt. Aussicht ist toll und sehr ruhig gelegen. Kann jedem nur empfehlen hier her zu kommen. Die Gastgeber haben die Einrichtung sehr gut durchdacht und es ist alles da was man braucht. Das beste B&B auf unserer Schottlandrundreise. Besser als jede Hotelkette.”
