Great base to stay for entering the highlands. 30 mins from Glasgow. Loch Lomond was great. Town has sea life 10 min walk from hotel to the loch. I would def come and stay again.

We had a great time at the queen of the loch. We had booked a twin room. Unfortunately, when we got into the room it was not arranged as a twin but the friendly staff fixed that right away. The location is great: close to the center and with shops and restaurants as well as the loch. We also really enjoyed the included breakfast (we had the full breakfast) and the atmosphere of the place which reminded me of a casual hotel in the US. The staff was always friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were clean and tidy and the restaurant offered a varied menu for evening meal . The breakfast was tasty and a good choice of menus. Staff were friendly in all areas of the hotel .

Carvery was poor. No gammon, uncooked cauliflower stems, pease looked as if the had been. Left for hours, Yorkshire very dry and rubbery. Breakfast poor selection of only very green very hard apple and orange. No butter only flora. No meusli. Poor food all round.
