“Had a nice stay. Parking can be challenging at times but there’s the street, if you’re ok with that. I would stay here again. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.”

“The room has been refurbished and was very nice and clean. The lady at the desk was very nice. The price was very affordable and the location was good. Beds were comfortable. The room had only one lamp for lighting and the vanity lights. The vanity had 3 bulbs, two of which were burned out. No maintenance was on the property so couldn’t be fixed. The plumbing is old and slow draining. I would stay again but there are those few annoying things.”

“Air didn’t work well, overall the place needs attention. A little paint doesn’t fix the underlying issues. I have traveled doing work on such places bringing them back up to standards and this one needs someone that does that work. I would get them straightened out while reaching the maintenance staff how to stay on top of things”

“Breakfast area was great. Not as happy with the desk staff at check-in. Asked for top floor, got 3rd floor instead. Advertised cookies in the evening, but no cookies were provided. Clerk said frozen shipment had not come in. Ice machine was broken the night we were there but was fixed by next morning. Room was nice so we were happy with that. ”

“Lovely lobby, chill atmosphere, fun games and art, complimentary drinks, easy parking arrangements off site but close by, wonderful location. Highly recommend. This did not deter us, but it did not have a mini fridge, which might have come in handy for us.”

“Great place! The price point in the state matched. Great location right in the middle of everything Hood River has to offer. It was nice to walk everywhere. The hot tub was perfect and the sauna is a great hot temperature 195°. We stayed in a king size river view. Because the hotel was built in 1905, all the windows are small, but the views were very nice. I can’t really compare this to anything else in Hood River, outside of the best western as those are the only two that I’ve stayed in. Very……

“Got into the room and the bathroom door wouldn’t close, because being off its hinges, and the towel holder was all apart and sitting on top of the toilet. Otherwise a very nice stay! 😊”
