“The breakfast choice isn't much.”

“A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.”

“Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great.”

“We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again.”

“Nice Pub, food was excellent, good selection of beverages, great staff, room was a bit dusty.”

“The management team is very friendly and helpful but security sense is not sufficient as the cleaning lady forgot to close the windows. If you do not request too high standard of room service, it would be a good choice.”

“On arrival Expedia booking which I paid in advance was declined but I wasn't informed so tried to pay with amex , but they wouldn't accept it. So had to pay on alternative card. Room was hot and stuffy, there were no bath towels or shower gel. The small kettle had a very small cable which was not detachable and was a stretch to get to a socket which I subsequently burnt my hand on trying to pour a drink. No hot food in the hotel incl evening meals and sparse continental breakfast was poor”

“Perfect, everything I needed for my short stay”

“住宿是不錯的，但交通條件是差的。必須有私家才好住這裡。”

“The stay experiences this time was very bad, the fire alarm was ON at 5:00 am in the early morning, everyone went out for fire evacuation. After 20 minutes, we went back to the room and the fire alarm kept to ON every 30 minutes until 9am. It was so annoying and really can't sleep from 5am to 9am and I need to check out at 11am on that day. I tried to call front desk to see what happened the fire alarm kept to ON, but no one pick up the call. Very disappeared to stay in this hotel.”

“My favorite place to stay so far in my travels. The location was perfect for walking to train station and all kids of shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was so nice, cute decor & very clean. The large bathtub was a huge bonus! Will stay here again”

“The rooms were simple & comfortable but the check in process was pretty poor. Dinner & breakfast were just about ok but we were rushed out of the breakfast room at 10.10 & asked to leave the hotel asap for the cleaners to start work. Overall I can give this property no more than 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I booked two rooms, but the staff could arrange two adjacent rooms for me. One was at 1/F, one at G/F. It sounded non-professioinal service when they did not consider such factors. Totally disappointed.”

“I understand that the building is old, but the smell of mold was overwhelming”
