“Had the most amazing holiday here. 3 families, 10 kids in total and each family had our own section of the house and own bathroom. And there was space for a 4th family. Beautiful home, well stocked with laundry and dishwasher stuff and toilet paper, glad wrap etc which is always so handy with big groups. Fire places were brilliant, location was perfect. We just loved every minute. Host was really responsive too and even got a portacot for us to use. You won't be disappointed with this……

“A charming house on a very spacious plot of land. Plenty of room for activities and very private. A lovely spa and outdoor fire pit perfect for the cool evenings. Top that off with a spectacular beach just over the dunes less than a 10 min walk away. Also close to waipu town centre and mcleods brewery. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“Quite a hard first evening as there were not enough sheets for the guests (double bed made up but none on the single beds) and no one was available to bring any until the next day. Just two towels for four people. I think this may have been an issue with bookabach details/messages not getting through to bachcare. Not a single spare sheet or towel on the property though. Wifi wasn't switched on or properly plugged in and router was hidden away in a bedroom wardrobe. The hot water cylinder wasn't……

“Lovley long weekend escape during the school holidays. This is a lovely place that would be great in summer etc with a nice deck and outdoor areas. We were there in July school holidays and it rained most of the time however house was nice and warm (including heaters for kids rooms) and a handy but quiet location. Would recommend.”

“Nice and quiet, and away from neighbours so it felt like a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoyable, and would gladly stay again. The view and sunny surround was absolutely amazing, as was the stroll down to the jetty. The house does provide all necessary cooking and living amenities to make the stay comfortable. However a coffee table would be really useful as there is no where to put your drink while watching tv. Absolutely fantastic that the property is pet friendly……

“You instantly relax when you arrive here. The view, the harbour, the quiet and the serenity are perfect for a getaway. Helene was responsive with all our requests, including being able to bring our two small dogs on holiday with us. This holiday home has everything you need, seems larger than what the photos display and was spotlessly clean. We had a family celebration to attend in Pahi on Saturday evening, so explored the wider area from Friday when we arrived. You can walk down the hill……
