Cabin in the mountain

The cabin was ad advertised. Beautiful location just be prepared to have four wheel drive for this particular area.

Great location with a great view

We wish we could have had more days there and look forward to going back. While I’ve had many trips to Ruidoso, this was one of the best. The cabin was very clean and it is very modern, but still has a ‘Cabin’ feel. We are looking forward to our next trip there.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful 4th of July holiday at this beautiful cabin. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed the patio and the outdoors. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

Our stay at the Cabin on the Mountain

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Cabin on the Mountain. The facility was very clean and the views were spectacular. Will plan to come back at some point in the future because we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful winter vacation

This was our first visit to Ruidoso. The weather was a roller coaster but we were very pleased and comfortable with the property. The kitchen was well prepared and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was great too.

Great cabin with Great views

The cabin overall was a great location and great views on top of a mountain. The cabin's amenities are a bit older but that's to be expected in ruidoso.

Peaceful

Very remote yet 5 miles to town. Abundance of wildlife we seen turkeys,deer,elk. Cabin very nice!

Quite getaway

Very nice place to unwind lots of Deer coming up to the back porch. Beautiful scenery from the front porch great place to drink your coffee in the morning.

Amazing views/ cozy cabin

My fiancé and three kids and I came to enjoy a few days during spring break here and it was perfect! The location of the cabin is just far enough away from town. It was quiet, cozy and so relaxing. The hot tub was the perfect touch. Will definitely be back!

Family Memorial Trip

Our family enjoyed this gorgeous and intimate setting in the woods. It was great escape from the city. It was a much needed and enjoyable vacation. Thank you for allowing our family to visit and privately honor the memory of our Son, Brother and Uncle!!

Family vacation

Our stay was very nice even though we had a family member become ill which limited our time exploring the cabin provided a peaceful environment that made the stay pleasant. The only negative was the size of the beds. Other wise the stay was very pleasant

House was just as listed. Everything worked great. The hot tub was the best With the cold temperatures during our stay. Clean, up to date and awesome views. Will stay again soon.

Views and wildlife amazing!!!

loved the house views and wildlife. Furniture needs updating as far as couch,, mattress on bed and recliners, also chairs at table on deck are falling in. If the owner spent a little money on those items Definitively a wonderful place to relax and enjoy more. other than that we loved it.

Great cabin for a family getaway!

Property was not clean when we arrived from previous guests. Called mgt and they called cleaning crew immediately. Few light bulbs outside need replaced but other than that, highly recommend the property if you love the Mountain View’s in a cozy cabin!

Perfect in every way!

We loved the sweet spot! It was the perfect place for our family getaway! It’s in a great location that feels very remote and is still very close to midtown and restaurants. The house is really nice with great updates and super clean! It has a great open concept which was nice with the kids. It has all the amenities you would need as far as kitchen ware, towels, and very comfy beds! The outside deck is super peaceful and very private. You see a lot of wildlife around! The hot tub being covered outside is a huge plus! We couldn’t have been more happy with the stay! The hosts were always very accommodating and helpful! We can’t wait to come back!

Fall Vacation

Our Fall vacation in Ruidoso was just perfect! The Cabin on the Mountain was even better than we expected. The location literally was on top of a mountain so the views were incredible. We enjoyed the deer coming to visit the back deck each morning and evening. We hiked the Grindstone Lake trail and the Ruidoso River Trail. We saw so many elk in and around town as well as mule deer and wild turkeys. The cabin was immaculate, comfortable furnishings and nicely decorated and had a well stocked kitchen. We loved the large hot tub and star gazing from the back deck. Plenty of great shopping and restaurants in town as well. The Land of Enchantment never disappoints!
