“I was offered a different place on the day of my check-in. The unit I booked was on the 2nd floor, but the unit I received was on the fourth floor. The issues: This is next to a Railroad track and the trains during the night blow their whistles. At least 4 times after 10 pm and during the night. The AC system is not working, there is an AC unit full of dust by the window and a floor fan, which I ended up using. There's a lot of dust and dirt by the floors near the windows. Toilet bowl was……

“This is a great place! Very cozy apartment that is well laid out and in both a quiet building and neighborhood. There is lots of easy access to shops and restaurants around and it was very easy to access from the street parking. The space is very clean and well furnished with everything needed for cooking in. “The prioperty was exactly as described. Very spacious, clean and a great value for the price. The location was excellent as we needed to be in downtown Des Moines. The only negative at all was the sketchy feel to the neighborhood. The Bodega next to the property entrance always had a number of people milling around day and night, and there was a Police presence there several times which made us wonder. We had no problems personally. ”
