Friendly helpful landlady. Room clean and fresh. Breakfast choices ample, with a lovely cooked breakfast if wanted. A 20/25 min walk to the main town and seafront. But buses easily available. As a suggestion, a fan in the bedroom would be nice in this heat, bedroom rather warm.

This is now the second time we've stayed here for the Isle of Wight Festival but equally would be a good base for staying in Ryde. Perfectly accessible, friendly owner and breakfast every day. One improvement would be a fan in the room if the weather is as hot as it was, but such a minor request.

This place is overrated, dated, unclean. Friendly staff but it is quite far from the town centre and it feels more like it is about how you as a customer can help the staff - it is about their needs, not yours as a customer.
