"Room wasn’t great. It wasn’t too bad, I’ll say my master bed/bath was really spacious! But I booked the renovated room, but got an older one after unfortunately paying for the new room. What happened was we wanted to check in early since we had a red eye flight and wanted to drop our things off in the room and settle in. They gave us whatever was available at that time (~2pm) and it was the old unrenovated room, but we decided to stay since it was right next to the main pool - the Mystic Dunes pool. Elevator itself was super old and sketchy looking, and I didn’t see stairs easily accessible to guests in that building as an alternative. Room - not great, was old and wasn’t that clean. The master bath also had a broken cabinet door with the door completely off and missing - which I had to report to staff, so they wouldn’t try to blame it on me and charge me. They also pissed me off so much with excessive fees. I was notified by Expedia that I’d have to pay at the hotel the additional Resort Fees $210 ($30/night for 7 nights) + Other Fees $28.35 = $238.35, but upon arrival they charged me $310.60 for $30/night resort fees + $10/night parking fee + taxes on top of that. Complete ripoff, considering I only had time to use the pool once. Absolute BS taxes on top of made up fees on top of the room rates. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite with kitchen and laundry layout was nice for splitting the cost to travel with a friend, but staying elsewhere next time I come to Orlando."

"We had a great stay. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of American breakfast options, although a few more fresh vegetables would have been appreciated. The pool area was large, clean, and very well maintained, and the water slide was a huge hit with our children. Overall, an excellent family-friendly hotel that we would gladly visit again."

"3/5 Stars - Fantastic Customer Service, but Lacks the "Wow" Factor Overall, our stay was decent, but the hotel definitely lacks a "wow" factor. We were disappointed to find the water slides and lazy river closed upon arrival, with no email notification beforehand. On the positive side, our room was upgraded from a 2-bedroom to a 3-bedroom, though the interior felt very outdated. A major downside occurred on our second night when the fire alarm went off twice around 1:00 AM. There was no announcement or follow-up communication, forcing our whole family to head down to the lobby and ruining our night's sleep. Additionally, the location is a bit far from the main Orlando parks and attractions, averaging a 35-minute drive. Giving this 3 stars based on the price, outdated facilities, and closed amenities. However, the absolute highlight was the customer service—staff at the lobby, restaurants, and throughout the property were outstanding."

"House was beautiful, spacious and clean. The cheapest and lowest quality toiletries you could possibly get. One roll of toilet paper on the holder and one back up for 5 days with 6 people. It was like wiping with a whisper. Bar soap for washing hands was the size of a communion wafer. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash was only good for one person for one day as long as you were quick enough to catch it before it slid through your fingers. One dishwashing pod, one laundry pod and two total trash bags for 5 days. Went to the front desk asking for more and was told they do not provide additional if we run out. However, it clearly states on the Expedia amenities list that toiletries free. They definitely need to clarify only enough for one day. Thank god Target is only a 12 minute walk. The maids started knocking on our door at 8:50am when check out was at 10am. When we answered they said take as long as you need while they circled the front door steps like vultures until 10am. Overall we made of the best it and wish we knew to be better prepared. Hopefully this review will help others."
