A restful break

Ideally situated at a farm with fields around. Compact property with living room/kitchen, bedroom and shower room/toilet. Very comfortable. TV in living room. Very warm reception from our host, Emma, who kept enquiring for further needs.

Quiet and peaceful cottage.

Just a short drive from Saffron Walden, the cottage is ideally situated for exploring Cambridge, Saffron Walden and Audley End House. A really quiet location and very comfortable stay.

This is our type of B&B

What we dislike about your run of the mill B&B is having to sit with other guests at breakfast, not that we're anti-social or anything! So this sort of place is ideal for us, a self contained unit where breakfast is supplied in your cabin so you can serve yourself at what time you like. A full size cooker too so you could in fact use it as self catering accomodation for a week easily. Would imagine in the summer, it would be great sitting outside looking over the countryside. As it was, from the back door we saw a hare in the early morning very close up. Property very clean, nice and warm and a super shower. Highly recommend.

Very clean, tidy property and the owner Emma was very friendly. She also provided excellent directions to the property. The B&B was ideally sited to explore Saffron Waldon and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Also Mountfichet Castle was only 20 mins drive away - excellent day out there. We helped ourselves to the breakfast provided in the B&B, plenty to choose from. We would definitely stay again. Very peaceful.
