The room was ok, there was a bit of an overpowering carpet cleaning smell, but bed was adequate. No amenities, there may have been coffee in the office but we left a 6:00 am and the office was closed.

This property is in a good location with easy access to the downtown area. The outside was somewhat run down with a few benches outside rooms with coffee cans on the ground, I assume for ashes from smokers. The inside had a board missing along a low ledge near the floor where a repair must have been made. Otherwise the room was clean, we did not have a problem with that. However, I don’t know if it was a cleaning agent or room deodorizer, but the room had such a strong odor that I was afraid I would have a headache by morning, and so we didn’t actually end up staying in this room.

The room was very clean, but the sheets and comforter were not dry. We pulled back the covers to let the bedding dry while we were out and about.

This is an old, bare bones motel. I only stayed there because I was spending the day with a group that was camping along the nearby Rifle River and there was nowhere else close by. It was mostly clean...the end of the shower curtain is obscured by the open bathroom door and it had a very dirty handprint on it. When I left I pulled the curtain to the other end in the hopes housekeeping would notice. The inside of the microwave door was very rusty. The towels and sheets were clean. The refrigerator was clean and actually had a separate freezer compartment. It was fairly quiet except for the late night and early morning train coming through. I heard zero noise from other rooms both nights. The in the wall A/C unit worked well to cool the room.

Had everything we needed for a one night stay. Room was very clean. Staff was helpful. If anything the A/C was loud. But it was welcome as the temp was in the 90’s.

Weekend fishing trip.

There was plenty of parking for our fishing boats. We were able to charge our batteries in the boats with the outside outlets.

Can up for a family reunion. The motel was exceptional. The cleanliness of the room was stupendous. Great little place to go explore the area definitely give a ten out of ten especially for the price

It was a clean place to stay, old motel, bring your own shampoo, they give you one packet. I thought the bed was hard and the air conditioner was very loud, so we opened the window.

This was our second stay at the Standish Motel and it was the same as last year. It is an older building but has been maintained well and very clean. It is convenient to the downtown area that has some good dining options.

The owner was very gracious and accommodating for our group in town for a gravel race. The atmosphere was excellent and while the location felt like a trip back in time it was clean and everything functioned as advertised. We will 100% be staying here again.
