「Terrible hotel. This was the worst place I stayed at in France.
The room had a horrible sewage-like smell that seemed to be coming from the ventilation. The towels were old, worn out, and unpleasant to use.
When I tried to take a shower, there was only cold water. I went to reception, and after checking, the receptionist told me everything was fine. The water became slightly warm, but still not warm enough for a comfortable shower. The next morning, there was only cold water again.

「The hotel is charming and in a lovely setting on the river. It feels like they have recently updated the rooms and bathrooms but the carpets are horrendous. When you walk into the hallways the stains are so bad that I didn't want to stay there and was immediately worried about the rooms. The rooms were nice but with the same terrible carpet. FIrst impressions matter and it is a bad first impression.
The restaurant is wonderful, breakfast was great with views of the river. No elevator to...

「The hotel was located right across the street from the station so it was very convenient as we traveled in and out of Rouen by train. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to get to the main attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was great. There was a kettle and free tea bags and instant coffee were provided. Will definitely stay there again next time. 」

「Lovely host (owner?) welcomed us. Little english but good use of translation app. Small, quiet property with a nice view over the valley. Room was new and very well done and equipped with everything one would need. Continental breakfast was a nice touch. The rooms are laid out such that other guests walk past your patio and doors which is probably unavoidable but obviously has an impact on privacy. The grounds are only partially complete but it really isn't an issue. I suppose the oddest issue...
