“Gorgeous location, amazing private deck/plunge pool/palapa, super comfortable bed! Waking up to see the sunrise through the sliders was incredible! A fantastic bungalow with everything we needed. Being low-season, pro was we had the beach to ourselves; con was the Pavilion was closed Mon-Tue. If you want peace and quiet with beautiful surroundings and the highest level of service from Ian and owner Wil, look no further.”

“Absolutely horrible! The photos must have been taken 10 or more years ago. The private lounge on Turtle Beach, a junk yard! The description of what you are getting is extremely deceptive, so be warned!As for the cottage, the porch view was great, however, you couldn’t sit there and enjoy it. You had to keep the doors shut to prevent the monkeys from coming in. That goes for the outdoor shower too! Yes, monkeys were in the shower! That’s just gross! Do you like to sleep? Good luck! “This was our third stay at Fairwinds. It is becoming an annual tradition now for our family. And we have already booked next year. Part of me is reluctant to give as great a review as this property deserves because I don’t want more people to find out about it. But that would be selfish. It is such a magical place and Fairwinds gives modern comfort while placing you at the edge of the Hermitage which is steeped in history and tradition. Fairwinds is a magical, wonderful home with stunning views……

“This place was amazing! Tou can tell they put a lot of love into this property. Michelle was the one that greeted us and she was so sweet and informative. The property definitely has an island vibe. No air-conditioning anywhere except the bedroom but to be honest, the breeze was so wonderful you didn't feel like we needed much. We used the kitchen every day and it was stocked with all the essentials cooking tools. The outside shower at night was amazing! Beach access is a short walk away……
