"A fabulous place to stay and great base for exploring all that the Lakes have to offer. There is access to the lake for paddle-boarding and swimming. Well equipped and well presented lodge with everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely book again. Very quiet location but within a short drive of Keswick. "
"This home is right on the lake, perfect for a quiet stay in a beautiful location, with a gorgeous view of the lake. Close to many Lake District attractions. The host was very responsive before and during our stay, provided many helpful recommendations for things to do in the area and nearby necessities. The check in process was very smooth and easy. Breakfast was excellent, and if you are heading out for walks, they can provide a packed lunch if you order the day before.
There must have been at least 5 extremely wellbeahaved dogs at the hotel that were owned by guests, its a super dog friendly place. There are towels to dry off the dogs and also a sink outside undercover with warm water tap to clean the dogs if needed."
