Great spot

I stayed the weekend at the Addie Shack with my two sons. We found the cottage clean and cozy. The location is perfect, the beach , boardwalk and dining is all walkable. We had a great time and would definitely return for another visit.

Lovely winter getaway

We wanted a little getaway to walk on the beach in the winter. The space is warm and very close to the beach, as well as the few stores still open in December (including a lovely candy-and-ice-cream shop just a few blocks up the street).

Nice place

Good location, easy to get in, bed was comfy. Kitchen sink feels a bit oddly placed but not a real issue. Nice towels in the bathroom. You might hear footsteps from above depending on who’s renting the second floor.

Super-cute property

It’s all good! The property is very cute and comfortable, fully equipped and in a great location near the beach and close to really nice restaurants. The owner is very responsive to questions and is accommodating to requests when possible.

Graduation stay

I flew with my family in to attend my graduation which was 40 minutes away from this location. We chose this area to relax prepare my big day. I arrived early and was able to to check in 2 hours early. The house was clean and I loved the decor. The only issues was there was ants because it was on the lower level, but management sent over all types of insect spray for me to use. It worked perfect. All the beds were comfortable. The city was quite and cute. We loved it.

Little gem close to beach

The Addie Shack is as cute as it sounds. SO cute! We spent Christmas here and had family over for pizza and wine. The space is cozy and comfortable with everything you need. The beds are comfy. The kitchen has a table for 6 and there is good space in the living room—comfy seating and a great TV. So close to beautiful beach and boardwalk. The owner checked in (unobtrusively) daily with a quick email to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return in summer!

The Abbie Cottage

Cute cottage. Updated, clean, on-site parking, a short walk to the beach, a short walk to the center of town, and a short drive to Hampton, Portsmouth, and Kittybunkport. Overall, it was a great time despite the rainy weather.

Girls trip

Did a girls trip to visit Salem. The Addie was small, but it worked out fine for us. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the rental, because we were out sightseeing. I would book this property again.

Wonderful Stay--just key issue

What a wonderful stay here! The location is perfection! This was just what we needed for our weekend stay here. The only issue was that we had an issue with key pad not working which was nervewracking leaving the premise and not being able to lock the place. We finally had to call to get the info to the lock box. I wish that was offered after the first time that we had an issue. Other than that, remember to bring beach chairs and towels as they are not provided. We loved our stay here and would absolutely stay here again (with a new key pad situation)
