“The house’s view is very nice,but it is not comfortable and convenient to stay. The host is very nice and try her efforts to maintain the house in good condition. ”

“Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!”

“This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. So our hope was……

“Did not like it. The room had an unpleasant smell. The walls were in terrible condition — scratched up and poorly maintained. The glass in the entrance door was broken and looked like it could fall out at any moment. This is unsafe for both children and adults. The breakfast was awful as well. If this hotel is being used temporarily while construction is going on nearby, or while you are building a new hotel, then either lower the prices or close the hotel until the renovations are finished.”

“We loved our short stay at Bayview B&B! Juliette was communicative leading up to check-in, and we really enjoyed visiting with her during breakfast. She is a fantastic cook! Already looking forward to planning a longer stay here.”

“Everything about this hotel was fabulous! It’s brand new so when we entered the lobby there was still that new construction smell. When we were checking in, they were having issues with their computer and offered us water & snacks while we waited for the computer issue to be resolved. We booked a king bed with sofa bed and got upgraded to 2 queen beds. There was a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, full size fridge and pots & pans, cutlery, dishes, etc. The bathroom had full size shampoo,……

“Absolutely wonderful place to stay, tucked out of the way from the main drag. Easily walkable to all the fun Duncan activities. Staff is amazing. Rooms are comfy. Cost is amazing! Love staying here!”

“Small town, older motel. It had what we needed but it may not work for everyone. Spent one night before flying out. Might be wise to stay closer to the international airport as the highways can be congested. ”
