From the time we pulled in, I smiled, until we were leaving to return home. The house is clearly filled with love from the family who owns it, you can tell they put a lot of effort into the property and hopefully get to utilize it as much as I would! The kitchen is well stocked, extra blankets and pillows, the patio/pool is beautiful, we had everything we needed! My husband is a big fisherman (he caught 2 citation red drum from the surf at the house!), but he wasn't trilled carrying all his fishing stuff over the dunes... As long as you don't have a lot to haul to the beach, its a quick trip to the ocean. The only complaint/ suggestion that I would have for the owners is the color of the master bedroom downstairs. I think a darker sage would suit the room better (and would match the new vanity!), when the sun comes up, the yellow is VERY bright and its the only room with no curtains. We actually moved to the queen room and slept much better for the rest of the week. I hope to have first pick of the same time next year!!! We had a nice stay!

Overall we had a really great stay. There were some things that should be noted, such as the ac in the upstairs main living area could not keep up during the day, it would get up to 80+ every day up there. I couldn’t imagine if we stayed during more hot months. Also, the ac vents/filters looks like they haven’t been changed in who knows how long. Some light bulbs were out, batteries not in remotes. It looks like the house is a work in progress, which is fine, I think its priced correctly. It was super clean, the kitchen was well appointed. We really enjoyed the pool area, everything was brand new down there. We wish there was a better grill then the park like grill on the side of the house. The screened in porch was used a lot as well. The beach is a hilly walk through the dunes. Bike rentals near by, the street the house is on is really nice for bike rides. Larger grocery stores are a good 20/30 minute drive! We really enjoyed Alex’s for local seafood. Thanks for a nice week!

Great house on the beach!!

We had a great time inside and outside the house. The pool/hot tub were wonderful with the beach just a short walk over the dunes. Any issues we encountered the property manager was able to address. Would definitely recommend this house!
