Beautiful home
A beautiful jungle setting, back from the road, fantastic property with privacy and a pool. The house was well furnished and we lacked for nothing while we were there. Bring groceries (and some fresh fish from town) and grill a lovely dinner on the deck. During the day, the place feels like a bird sanctuary and we enjoyed watching a Toucan go in and out of a rounded hole in the large tree behind the house to feed its chicks. We felt comfortable and at home during our stay. Internet was slow at times, spotty at others. Oh well, Pura Vida!

Natasha was a wounderful guest. She and her familily enjoyied the house with respect and taking good care of it any time. She communicate well in Amy moment. I would love to have her back as guest some time. About the internet it is being upgrading this week

Beautiful, private, and restorative.
If you want privacy and isolation in a gorgeous home and setting, but close to fabulous beaches and amenities then this is the place for you! I noticed myself on multiple occasions feeling more relaxed then I have in a long time. It was as though we all pressed the pause button and embraced it.

Wonderful stay!
Nury was so helpful especially with one friend who lives in country and we were unsure when she would join us and for how long. Nury was extremely flexible and accommodating. Very special place and once in a lifetime experience.

Fantastic stay!
We were fortunate to stay here for one month. If i could give this house and host 10 stars I would. The house is amazing and so clean! Nury was absolutely wonderful !!

Samara- 2 bedroom house
What a great spot Nury and her family are offering here.. We stayed for a week in January of 2024 and absolutely loved this place. It was clean and just as beautiful as all of the pictures portray. Very private, but yet felt very safe as well. You need a rental car as it is about a 10 min drive into town. I would not hesitate to book there again. Thank you Nury ! Pure Vida

Having Jason and wife as guests was a very positive experirnce in every aspect. Kind, respectful, friendly. They respected all the rules of the house and they were grateful anytime. I wuold love to have them back some time as guests.

Wonderful place to be in CR
This was one of the most tranquil places we went on our trip, and is just as nice (or nicer!) as the pictures make it look online. It was great to be in the middle of the jungle with all the flora, fauna, jungle sounds/animals, yet only 12 minutes away from the beach and stores/restaurants. The hosts/owners communicated well, were very kind, and the house/kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. We saw monkeys, leafcutter ants, horses, butterflies, and others from the porch and pool. The beds were comfortable. It was a great place to have in the middle of our trip, and Carillo was a beautiful beach to explore from here for day trips. Great spot!!

Paradise in the Jungle!
Lovely modern open concept home with all amenities to cook, swim and entertain. Nury and Daniel were fantastic hosts. Samara and Playa Carrillo are a quick 10 minute drive to beaches!

Paradise
Nury is an amazing host. She kept in touch with us the entire time. If we had any questions and/concerns she was quick to respond. The house was beautiful. We saw monkeys, toucans, iguanas, and a bunch more animals while staying there. We got to fully immerse ourselves within the Costa Rican habitat. Could wake up have a cup of coffee and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature. What an experience! Thanks for everything Nury!

Beautiful & tranquil ... a perfect stay!
There are a lot of reviews describing the place so I won’t repeat other than to say I agree with them… the place is as you see in the pictures, beautiful. One minor thing I will add is the safe deposit box; it’s big so you can put your laptops in it. We have a business and had to bring our laptops so that was important to us. The property has a security fence and it’s quite a way off the road so it’s very safe, we didn’t see anyone on the property the whole 3 weeks we were there, but always good to have a safe place to stash passports and important items. Other people have mentioned this as well but worth repeating, Nury and Daniel were on top of it. Anything we needed, any advice as to what to do or where to eat they were on it. I can’t add anything to the other reviews… they’re all 5 stars for a reason. Two awesome restaurants we liked were Villa Bosque Restaurant in Playa Carrillo and Sabor de la Montana in Nosara.

Fabulous property! Everything you need for relaxing! Samara beach is ten minutes away and the warmest ocean I’ve ever been in and I have travelled extensively! Cannot say enough wonderful things about the host! Helped with everything we needed!

Belle maison tranquille
Accueil sympa, la casa est nichée dans une petite vallée à l abris des regards. Seul bémole : manque de four pour cuisiner et le BBQ n etait pas fonctionnel ( mais neuf donc ça doit etre réglé au moment d ecrire ces lignes). Nous y avons été en famille et nous y retournerions avec plaisir...

Relaxing retreat
This property was amazing! We loved the open concept and outside views made us feel connected to the surrounding nature. Loved hearing all of the different bird sounds. Gracious hosts and beautiful property
We had a wonderful stay and Nury and Daniel were kind hosts. The house was gorgeous and private and had everything we needed. We loved the hammock swing outside and we could sing into the jungle with our guitar. We loved the pool.

Lieu à seulement 4.5 km de Samara. Super tranquille avec des plages tout près autre que Samara qui est déjà très belle. Accès aux restos mais la maison est tellement bien équipée qu'il est hyper agréable d'y manger. (sans oublier d'incroyables voisins à l'extérieur du terrain très bien cloturé tel: vaches, chevaux, singes, iguanes)

Perfect Property for Our Vacation
Wow! What a wonderful place to stay for our week-long visit. The house and surrounding area are beautiful! The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfortable, the sitting areas are comfortable and big. Loved having A/C in the bedrooms and a pool for cooling off. And as a fun bonus - we could see monkeys in the trees near the property!

Amazing home
Nury’s home was just absolutely stunning with an open concept with lush beautiful trees everywhere! Cows came through the little steam behind the house!!! The home had everything you needed to enjoy your stay! We were less than 10 min from the beach! I would recommend this home if you want a quiet peaceful getaway!

Lovely private abode
The house was perfect for our family. Very private, beautiful setting in the forest/jungle. House was meticulously clean, well-stocked and well-maintained. We’d stay here again, without a doubt. Nury was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had about the place and town.

Pure bliss
If Nury’s place is available, do yourself a favour and book it! For people who enjoy a home that is well thought out down to every detail, you will be in heaven. Cooking is easy, visiting is comfortable and all of it comes with amazing views. For those looking for a home away that has it all, you found it. The beds are a dream (pun intended), plenty of linens, and extra amenities you haven’t even thought of. Even the seating itself is above and beyond, comfortable and supportive. The coffee and fruit already stocked is the tip of the iceberg, plenty of seasonings, sugar, oil, etc. in the pantry. If you’re lucky enough to book it during rainy season, the evening rain showers are perfect to enjoy for night owls or soothing like a lullaby. Samara is a quick 10 min drive one way and Nosara an easy 25 min drive the other. We were conscious of staying in the forest and the bugs that go with it. We asked Nury for some raid and that worked to control the bugs for us Canadians who are not used to them. The internet didn’t work while we were there. Nury is planning on fixing that for good, but I would say, do yourself a favour and ask her not to. The four days of peace and quiet was absolutely amazing and completely unheard of in todays world. Spend that time in the pool, it’s beautifully manicured and well maintained. Speaking of Nury, i hope it’s obvious she was very helpful and communicative during our stay! On second thought, please don’t book this… I’d like to come back. Pura Vida.

Wonderful accommodation
This is a beautiful open concept place to stay with the family. The property itself is very peaceful and quite and not too far from Samara beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The only thing which we did not pay attention to and the property owner mentioned in the amenities section of the property was the WiFi. We had a Verizon international plan as well as the local Liberty cellphone service plan, but both were useless as there was no signal, and as the property owner rightly mentioned, the WiFi is only good for texting but only sometimes as most times it would say "No internet connection". But it is a beautiful property and would definitely recommend it and if gotten a chance, would stay there again.

Absolutely gorgeous house, great hospitality
This house is beautifully designed to make the most of its tropical surroundings. The front opens onto a long deck and garden full of diverse foliage and birds. A peaceful and welcoming space, especially in the morning. The bedrooms are quiet and air-conditioned for comfortable nights, and the furnishings are generous and attractive. Delighted to be able to experience Samara from this lovely space.

Loved our stay in this new listing. Nury was very responsive and helpful! We loved the house- it has everything you need and nothing you don’t. The details of the house were perfect. Nice, but not fancy. The pride taken in creating this experience can been seen and felt. I was initially concerned about not having a pool but we were out exploring the area and loved all our time there. We looking forward to returning soon!
