“Very warm welcome upon arrival. Helpful, friendly staff. Studio room was large, clean and well equipped. Complementary tea, coffee, sugar and a large bottle of water in fridge waiting for us. Bathroom was clean and tidy, with soap, toilet roll and shampoo. Kitchen had all the items for a self catering stay and included dish saop and sponge too.Pool and gardens were immaculate. Balcony was a little small but enough for the 2 of us. Very relaxed stay, would definitely book again and happily……

“The apartment is excellent, the only downside is the proximity of the busy road and the noise. Several very good restaurants and the beach are all very close, there’s a choice of 3 supermarkets if you wish to self cater. There’s buses into both Chania and Agia Marina virtually on the doorstep and very cheap.Overall we enjoyed our stay at Villa Sonja, the front view from the apartment is fantastic, the agent and owner are very both helpful and responded to our queries immediately. "The hotel had a 80s decor and vibe, but the not-so-modern outlook is totally, if not over compensated, by the impeccable service, cleanliness, view at the breakfast restaurant, quality of food, and the ample size of the swimming pools which provide more than enough room for everybody to enjoy. We have had an amazing time there! I paid extra for a side sea view room because the picture looks like a frontal sea view, but it wasn’t, and I probably would not have chosen the same room type next time. "
