"The location is the only downside for this hotel - it is away from the central city, on the road to Tbilisi. Quite a few locals were staying - maybe they were driving. I was caught in the rain: I turned up looking like a drowned rat and the fellow on reception couldn't have been kinder. He wanted to carry my backpack but it was easier for me to do so: he took me to my room, got the heater working, found a hairdryer and showed me where everything was.
The room had a sofa, a rather large...

There are large single family houses with gardens on the street and recreational park some 10 min walk away, it has a cable car which will take you down to the city centre in 2 min. "Giorgi was an incredible host. He was attentive and always available to answer questions. His fluent English made it easy for us to communicate. The room was amazingly clean with a mini fridge that included a freezer enabling me to keep my water ice cold. The attention to detail including providing toiletries, coffee, bathrobe, disposable slippers, bottled water etc made for a very comfortable stay. The location was very convenient to walk to the center and departure points for tours. I loved staying here and appreciated the kindness of the host family."
