"To be honest I was let down by this stay especially the cost. It has seen better days and is showing its age badly It was clean, comfortable bed and linen and the aircon was good Nam the receptionist was good with excellent communication via what’s app On the Sunday the owner was having a private BBQ which just seemed strange and the place was over run by noises children attending the function it’s only a small hotel It needs some cash spent on its decor rusty flexible pipes in the bathroom is not a good look, the cups provided in the room are stained from general use and age and should not be in general use The pool is small but good, the pool furniture also needs an upgrade The staff were polite and worked hard This place has the potential to be an excellent boutique hotel it location is excellent But please please spend some money on it It is so overpriced I am pay less for a luxury hotel on Cheweng"

"Great location, clean modern well designed rooms. Family friendly, resort attracted families about cater well for young children. Perfect location for dining, markets and all fisherman’s beach has to offer."

"My 4th stay here. Great location on the beach and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. All staff polite and smiling. Two lovely pools. And friendly squirrels if you have nuts!"

"No airport shuttle available when we asked. Need to walk to a beach for actual beach access. Staff were nice but had to request towels and other items that should have been in room already. A good budget friendly option, maybe not the most ideal when travelling with kids."

"Excellent aircon. Didn't try the pool this time as our guest room (#304) was in the newer building near reception (as opposed to across the road from reception where we stayed 6 days previously and where we did enjoy the pool). Unfortunately there were some really weird thumping, crashing and bashing noises going on directly above our room...almost like renovations except it went on until 2am and started again early Sunday morning. Overall, it didn't affect our stay that much and the location of the Villager is simply fabulous to enjoy the strip that comes alive at night time."
