"Great find and great location "

"We booked a Deluxe Room (208) and it was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. From our room at night faint music from the restaurants on the canal could be heard, but this all stopped by 11pm, so was no bother to us at all. I can’t say how this might differ in the height of summer, but this time of year (end of Feb) when Venice is less busy the central location of the hotel was fantastic. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety on offer that was regularly topped up. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. This hotel was exactly what we were looking for, and I would definitely recommend it."

"The hotel staff were great! Location was perfect right in front of water taxi and water bus! Walking distance to St. Mark and Doge Castle. I just wished we had the full view of the canal vs. just half from our balcony. "

The location couldn’t have been more perfect, close enough to easily reach all the main sights, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, whether it was offering recommendations, answering questions, or simply greeting us with a smile each day. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and the facilities throughout the hotel were excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Venice."

"Colombina Hotel was a perfect spot to stay in Venice! Centrally located to some of the city's most iconic locations, while offering a quiet and authentic experience right on one of Venice's famous canals. The hotel had wonderful service, larger than expected rooms, and a great breakfast! I highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again!"

"Superb location. Our room had a double aspect overlooking the canal. We could watch the Gondolas all day! Bathroom a bit small and shower over bath wasn’t great. Breakfast was terrible. Very busy, hot food was limited and tasteless, poor coffee, toaster didn’t work, etc. However, the service and location made up for it. Lots of nearby cafes and bars that are relatively inexpensive if you stand at the bar. "

"They staff upon check in were very helpful & gave lots of advice on navigating the boat time table & how to reach the centre of Venice. Rooms were spotless and the breakfast buffet was tasty & plentiful. Very comfortable bed & pillows. "
