“Fantastic property! It was comfortable and had everything we needed including a great outdoor space to relax and eat. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable to the shops and restaurants of North Park. Hope to stay again when in the area.”

“Jim and his place are a Carlsbad gem. We are a couple with a dog and are grateful that dogs are allowed. We also really appreciated his thoughtful amenities like the EV charger, Carlsbad Alkaline water, hot outdoor shower the kitchen set up including a blender (we make a lot of smoothies). Jim also provides beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, bougie board, surf board, and towels)We also loved the enclosed outdoor space which seems like an extension of the indoor space. “I did a lot of research prior to finding Jim’s place. The house is close to the beach and the Carlsbad Village, all under 5 minutes walking distance. I enjoyed my morning walk with my dog by the beach and to the coffee shop. The house was clean with great amenities which provided the relaxing stay. It’s in a peaceful and safe neighborhood where everyone was very respectful and friendly. The house provided a privacy, yet the owner Jim is only a text away. We can’t wait to go back. ”

“I spent a lovely week with my dog at this adorable 1BR cottage in Old Town San Diego. Check in was easy, and the place was very well supplied with everything from plastic bags to cooking equipment to a flashlight. The little long patio outside was great for throwing the ball for my dog, or just sitting to enjoy morning coffee. Joan was very accommodating to requests, and even brought over a basket of dog toys and a jar of treats for my pup when we arrived! Whether I spent the day lazing around……

“I booked this for my husband bc his friends were camping at the campground down the street and he didn’t want to camp as it was cold outside. He loved it so much, he didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect little house complete with a coffee maker, microwave, updated bathroom/shower, large comfy bed and the cutest patio. He keeps talking about it, so we will rebook soon.”

“Ok let’s get a couple of things out of the way. OB is directly West of San Diego Int’l Airport. And the shower in this great cottage is approximately 26” X 26” (think old-fashioned phone booth). If I haven’t lost you yet – GOOD! Because you really don’t want to pass this one up. Although parking in wonderful Ocean Beach is part of the adventure, I suggest you leave your car at home and UBER in. You won’t need a car anyway. Because everything you need or want is within walking distance.……
