The staff here were so nice and accommodating. We were coming from out of town and wanted to explore the city after check out. They let us keep our bags at the hotel while we explored. The rooms were clean and properly maintained as well.

Absolutely wonderful staff! Every staff member I talked to was so kind, friendly, and helpful if I needed help. There was an asian woman that works in the morning and I just wanted to give her a huge shoutout-- honestly some of the best customer service I've ever received in my travels! Room was clean and I felt safe. I love how the door to the entrance locks. Everything was great about this stay!

Excellent location in central downtown SF. Hotel was very clean, staff very friendly. Safe area with lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance. Parking nearby was easy and affordable. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

The hotel is in a very bed shape, smelling bed, dirty bedding, the shower was clogged and water never drained completely. I changed three rooms at check in before finding one in a decent condition to spend the night.

I live in Monterey Bay, I come to SF when there are concerts I wanna go to and do not feel like making the drive back. I have stayed with the Touchstone hotel 4 times within the last 3 years. Its always a good non stressful stay, staff is amazingly welcoming & professional. They explain parking and give you a good discount. This last time I visited I got a not so good corner room. I did not like that there was a door next to the bed with no night stand leading to... ? Who knows where. That sucked but someone has to stay in that room I suppose. I will take the L this time because the previous times I have gotten a good room& I like this place. As a suggestion... that room sucks lol and I hope it gets remodeled.

The room was tiny, but very clean. Housekeeping did an amazing job cleaning the room. The front staff were very helpful and always polite . The building is very old, the elevator is kinda scary, and the restaurant is depressing, very empty and old. In general I would stay here again if I’m traveling on a budget.

I was almost skeptical seeing mixed reviews of this hotel. But, nonetheless It exceeded my expectations! The staff front desk woman was really nice 😊 I appreciate her hospitality and kindness. She let me check in early There was no noise level , the AC was great and room was hot (It was cold during my stay so it was fine) 👍 very comfortable bed Would Definitely recommend !
