Amazingly beautiful views, garden and lovely pool

We had a very comfortable stay in this sweet villa condo. San Gimignano was such a wonderful place to visit and is within walking distance from the property (about 2 miles). The owners and property manager were accessible and responsive.

Picturesque Tuscan oasis

We had a beautiful stay at Casa il Pozzo. Five nights in this gorgeous property did not feel like enough. The facilities were really good and the hosts very helpful with all of our questions- and their hospitality extended beyond our stay - express posting our daughter’s watch to Rome for us! We will definitely return - to do the walk to San Gimignano with a map next time!!!!

Abgewohnt und unsauber

Wir wohnten als Familie im August 2022 für 2 Wochen im Casa il Pozzo. Lage: traumhaft in den Weinbergen, aber recht abseits. Pool: sehr schöner Salzwasser Pool, mit herrlichem Blick über die Landschaft. Der Außenbereich mit Kräutergarten sehr schön. Unser erster Eindruck des Innenbereichs: In die Jahre gekommen, absolut ungemütlich. Der Geruch bei Ankunft: modrig bis schimmelig. Bei Ankunft war der Boden in den Ecken und hinter den Türen usw. so verstaubt, dass sich Flocken bildeten, unter Schränken und Stühlen, an Lampen, den Heizkörpern viele Spinnweben. Wir fragten direkt eine Reinigung des Fußbodens an, was von den Vermietern schnell organisiert wurde. Die Grundsituation konnte dadurch aber nur oberflächlich verbessert werden. Wohnbereich: Die Möbel sind wild zusammen gewürfelt, der blaue Sessel komplett abgenutzt, braun-grau, eklig. Die Wandlampen gelblich und innen grau vom Schmutz. Die Türklinke am Haupteingang defekt, der Vorhang viel zu lang. Der Rauchmelder liegt im Regal. Schlafzimmer: Matratzen durchgelegen, neue nötig. 2 völlig verstaubte Ventilatoren in den Schlafzimmern, eklig. Im Doppelbett-Schlafzimmer steht eine alte Gardinenstange für einen Türvorhang, die Wandhalterung steckt teilweise noch drin, wurde nie repariert und erneuert. Eine zerbrochene Nachttischlampe wurde notdürftig mit hellem Klebeband geklebt. Lose Platten auf den Nachtschränkchen. Im Twinbett-Zimmer regnete es während eines Gewitters so stark durch das Fenster oder die Mauer darunter rein, dass das Zimmer überschwemmt war und wir alles aufwischen mussten, da ist dringend eine Reparatur nötig. Küche: Relativ neue Geräte, aber ungepflegt. Der Wasserkocher und die Spülmaschine waren bei unserer Ankunft komplett verkalkt, In der Lavazza Kaffeemaschine war noch ein altes Pad vom Vormieter drin, wir mussten alles erst entkalken und sauber machen. Die Waschmaschine ist relativ neu, hatte aber ein verschimmeltes Waschmittel-Fach. Die Gläser und anderes Geschirr milchig und rau durch eingefressenen Kalk, müssen dringend erneuert werden. In der gesamten Wohnung ist keine Instandhaltung zu erkennen. Hier ist dringend eine Komplettrenovierung notwendig. Vermutlich ist eine Ursache für diesen Zustand, dass die Besitzer nicht vor Ort sind und der Verwalter überfordert oder desinteressiert ist. Es fehlt uns jegliches Verständnis für diesen schlechten Zustand.

Perfekt für Ruhe und Entspannung

Die FWG liegt etwa 3km außerhalb von San Gimignano an einer Strada Bianchi. Zu Fuß ins Örtchen ist möglich, aber aufgrund des auf und ab anstrengend. Daher ist ein Auto zielführend. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man benötigt. Einfach klasse. Insbesondere der Garten ist spitze. Der Pool mit seiner Aussicht grandios. Die FWG liegt in einem alten Bauernhof und insgesamt sind es wohl 6 Einheiten. Sehr angenehm.

Wunderbare Lage, schönes Domizil

Das Ferienhaus liegt ganz wunderbar in der Nähe von San Gimignano, tatsächlich kann man vom Pool aus auf die Altstadt gucken. Ein Traum. Die geräumige Ferienwohnung war sehr schön, rund um die Wohnung waren verschiedene Sitzplätze, die man je nach Tageszeit und Sonneneinfall nutzen konnte. Der junge Mann, der vor Ort zuständig war, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein ganz besonderes großes Lob und viel Dankbarkeit geht an die Vermieter, die nicht nur sofort auf alle Anfragen freundlich eingingen, sie zeigten sich über die Maße entgegenkommend. Sie haben ihre Gäste mit netten Kleinigkeiten wirklich herzlich willkommen geheißen.
