From check-in to checkout, the staff was absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the property is stunning.the breakfast was very good. We hade drinks in the relaxing bar area and the chef accommodates by bring a fresh focaccia and very tasty tomato and basil topping. Which led to an amazing dinner the next night..

It was a memorable stay! The resort is quiet, clean, cozy and royal and historical. It was a monastery 500 years ago. The view from the gardens is stunning! The staff is very nice, friendly and professional! I would definitely go back in the future!

This property is absolutely gorgeous. Incredible tuscan valley views. Beautiful grounds. The staff was phenominal. Thanks to Michaele, Mel and the chef the experience was exponentially better. The head chef not only prepared incredible meals but he came out and grated each guest with a smile and a handshake. The drive to San Gimignano was easy and quick. Our only drawback was we paid extra for the Tower Suite so we can use the giant jacuzzi at the top of the tower but it only pumped out cold water so we didn't get to use what we paid for. I'm giving them 5 stars despite that because everything else was over the top good.

A beautiful setting within a beautiful city. We loved this place overall. Staff were very friendly, everything about the hotel was top notch...except the comfort of the bed for me. That was the only slight negative. We would love to visit again though. Basically outstanding.

A very beautiful property and grounds. Pool area lovely. Limited food options and no prices on the drinks. Felt the staff could have been a bit more friendly and welcoming. We arrived slightly early and were told we could not use the facilities until our room has been assigned. Never had that before. Not terribly helpful on a hot day.

Property is highly recommended. We were very pleased as it provided a real country Tuscany feel about it. Very well appointed and 'historical'. Staying facing the garden in the summer had a drawback of mosquitos getting into the room. Hotel did not seem to relate this problem, not offer any solutions, so that was just a bit disappointing. Otherwise, this is highly recommended.

The restaurant staff composed of Salvatore, Abby, and Rajab is excellent. They are very warm and professional, creating a fantastic experience for us. Dan is at the front desk was extremely helpful too. Overall phenomenal experience.

Classy place. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. The staff was ready to help. While I was waiting for my room, reception sent my bags to the room, and included cookies with a sign “Happy Birthday” which they recognized from my passport.

Fantastic place with a great pool area and a beautiful view up to San Gimignano from the terrace. Breakfast was outstanding with a wide selection of different food. The people in the restaurant gave us a very warm and pleasant experience- I had birthday and the came in the morning with cake with a light in it :)) We had a superior room-with a great bathroom but the room was quite small. Highly recommendations from us with only 20 minutes walk from San Gimignano.

Beautiful property .. I found it a bit creepy at night , it is isolated from town. My biggest issue is there is no staff at night and no manager on site when we stayed . It was a young girl on the front desk and a few waiters at night until 11 pm. If there is any issue they do not even have a manager or supervisor they can call on the weekends . Not sure I would stay there again .

We had to book this hotel last minute due to issues with our villa. The staff were excellent and could not be more helpful, it was lovely to speak to them and also learn a bit more about the history of the building. They were aware of our situation and ready to help further if needed. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and the breakfast (food, setting, service) was top notch. If you have the opportunity to stay here - definitely go for it!
