The property, the views, the staff, everything was incredible. It is so beautiful here and I would highly recommend if you are looking at this property you put it to the top of your list! This is one of those stays you will be glad you booked. Recommend you have a car, this is more in relation to San Ignacio itself rather than the hotel.

Our stay at Cassia Hills Resort was amazing! Our accommodations were as expected and the amenities were great! We did stay in off season so some typical things like not being fully stocked on food items in the restaurant were expected. The staff......TOP TIER! From personalized service to accommodations when one of our group members had an accident and hurt their leg, we could not have asked for better. Sarly and Carlos made the stay, honestly, as the accommodations were plain. Both went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and needed nothing. One thing that did take us by surprise was how far the cabin was from the entrance and it was all uphill. This is not a factor that would sway me from coming back as the grounds are beautiful, but for someone with mobility issues or physical constraints it might prove challenging.

Massive thanks to Carlos and Isabelle, the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, if you do one thing here make sure it’s the Caracol Mayan site. The pool was enjoyable, the AC allowed us to sleep at night, we enjoyed the on-site restaurant. We also utilized the resort pay for fee shuttle service from the airport and to the water taxi. All very punctual and professional.

We loved our stay here. The staff were so helpful. It was nice that we could order our breakfast ahead of time so that it was ready even if we had a tour to get to. It was a bit of a ways from town but we walked there for lunch once. It was also easy and cheap to coordinate a taxi to town if you prefer. The property was beautiful and we even got free coconuts. at the pool one day.

We enjoyed our time here! Our family of five stayed comfortably in the “one room family suite” which had a mini fridge and a microwave. The grounds have beautiful landscaping and the pool is very nice. This was a great spot for a home base while exploring all the ruins.

Great property (seemingly) as we stayed for a night. Main issue: we came in at 12:30 to check-in (2pm reservation) - the property was empty (1 guest) but they refused to get us rooms till 2pm. We were hoping to freshen up before we headed to the next spot - we ended up going to the next spot & returning at 10pm & check-out at 6am. In short we’re not sure what the property has to offer but disappointed with the check-in capability with an empty resort.
