"Great location near Monteverde—close to hiking and nature, yet peaceful and private. One morning we even spotted green parrots from the back of the home, which was a lovely surprise. The property is new and well-maintained, with a smart layout that worked well for our family. We appreciated the 1.5 bathrooms and access to a washer and dryer, which made our stay more convenient. "If I could give more than 5 stars I would. What an amazing magical place! The hosts are the sweetest in the world and made us feel like family. I got a tour of their garden and it was magical! I learned so much and I would come back here any time I could. Honestly, the best Vrbo/host etc experience I’ve ever had and I am so glad to have met them. Also the best sunsets you’ll ever see, and please check out the La casita restaurant it’s close and to die for!"

"Alan's house was a wonderful place to base our family (w/ 2 kids, 6 and 9) for visiting Santa Elena and Monteverde; it is a very charming spot with breath-taking views, my boys loved having breakfast and spotting rainbows our first morning. The house was spotless and the kitchen very well-equipped (with cookware and cutlery in excellent condition). Alan and his wife were extremely gracious hosts, always easy to contact and eager to help. We hope to come back soon!"

"This is hands down the best hotel i or my family have ever stayed at and I travel a lot. The property is in a very serene setting, rooms are immaculate and have amazing views (we had two floors with a bedroom in each floor). Ther service was the winner. They memorize your entire families name and greet you by your name, they help with all tour bookings and the restaurant is world class. We ate breakfast and dinner their every night. Coctails are out of this world and a solid wine list. We were so sad to leave and cant wait to come back"
