“I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.”

“Our stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The place is very cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature — exactly what we were looking for. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and a special thanks goes to Cesar, who truly went above and beyond. We had unexpected difficulties at the Guatemala–Belize border and arrived very late, around 10:30 pm, but Cesar was still there waiting for us with a smile and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. That meant a lot……

“I stayed in a King Deluxe room at thought it was great value. The staff were all excellent, the hotel restaurant was great and the pool was large. Plus, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the market / downtown but removed enough to be quiet) and there's a large grocery store directly across the street if you want snacks / sunscreen etc. I would certainly stay at Midas Belize again.”
