“The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! “This hotel was quite nice. I really enjoyed the curtained space outside of my room. The fan helped keep the bugs away, but the noise from the road was quite loud. The location is off the main road coming into town, so there a lot of cars during the day. The pool was nice, but it was always very buggy around it.”

However, There are two locations for this hotel. one is near the main road - that is where the pool is and it is a small pool so we didn't end up using it. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the beach area which was as advertised. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were great. It is a small town so easy access to everything.”
