“My husband and I were able to get this property on the fly after contacting Eddy for availability that same evening. We soon learned that the property was not .66 miles from Gruene Hall as indicated on the listing but more like 2 miles away. This meant we would not be able to walk to Gruene Hall that evening. The directions to get into the gate at the apartment were not complete and so we had trouble getting in. We followed another vehicle entering. After climbing 3 flights of stairs with……

“The property was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Roomy and uncluttered. Everything we used in the house was in perfect working order. Property is easy to find. Quiet neighborhood. Close to many eating establishments and a large HEB. Nice family/property managers. Would definitely book this property again. Since location is in southeast Austin, guests like us who arrive from the south will miss a lot of the awful Austin drivers and traffic (where are you DPS troopers and Austin PD?) “Enjoyed my stay in your cute home. The only complaint I really have is the smell of gasoline coming up through the floor during the night with the apartment over the garage. Woke up about 3am and could smell the gasoline.”

“We found the property as described. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood but was generally within a 15 minute drive of any place we wanted to visit. With the longer daylight we enjoyed the walking trails after dinner. It was very easy to set the climate to something comfortable. “This is a comfortable apartment well located in the fun town of San Marcos. Plenty of good restaurants and other amenities within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped (only pod coffee maker...we prefer drip fwiw) overall. Laundry facilities a plus. Two small quibbles--hot water was a bit lacking for our group. “Very clean! Anything you need and more is there. We did mot end up cooking but all the appliances were in great condition. Comfy beds and hot water in shower. The location is a little ways outside of San Marcos but not a far drive at all. Very quiet and peaceful. The icing on the cake is the hot tub. Perfect temp and strong jets. Perfect for a cold and windy weekend of all outdoor activities. Short drive to Martindale if want to do something fun and quaint. Close by the river.”

“We stayed in Megs Boarding House for my birthday weekend. Didnt help that it rained and a cold front came thru. But didnt stop us from utilizing the pool. I dont think id stay in megs boarding house again though and would definitely upgrade to a newer cabin. But glad i got to experience staying in there. Was very adorable, but walls are super thin and we were upstairs and man those stairs are steep ...and i get it...its old fashioned megs boarding house lol. But there was even dirt marked on the……
