“We stayed in a shipping container! It wasn't a real room. It was cold. They provided us with 2 noisy space heaters that didn't heat enough. Sheets and blankets felt itchy. We couldn't sleep much. Staff was nice. Location and view were amazing. Breakfast was excellent. I don't recommend to stay there if you are hoping for a nice comfortable stay. ”

“Great hotel with breakfast. We stayed for the night we arrived and it is just a few minutes from the airport and stayed again prior to leaving. Can be a bit noisy on the front side with traffic so we asked to stay on the backside for departure night. The airplanes going over are loud. ”

“It was a great stay. Property has both shared rooms and private ones. I had a private one with private bathroom. It was simple but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and the owner offers transport for a minimum fee. Will definitely stay again. ”

“Cindy, the owner, was an excellent host. Very proactively engaged in our experience from the day we booked. The bungalows look into the forest and dining pavilion were new, modern, and well equipped. Cindy is also the chef, and serves and excellent breakfast and dinner. She also arranged activities for us, which was fabulous. The beds were comfortable and large, with an outside deck. The location is remote (which is the point of booking - for that tree canopy experience) and windy drive, so……

“I’m currently staying at the Hotel Santo Tomas and it’s a total standout. The building was originally built in 1908, and they’ve done an incredible job maintaining that historic character while keeping everything comfortable. Even though you’re right downtown and close to everything, the property feels like a private oasis. Once you step inside, you completely forget you’re in the middle of a busy city. “We stayed here as a one night stop over on way to Caribbean side. The staff was kind and and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. We felt safe and got a good nights rest. Free breakfast was yummy. Would recommend this hotel as a stop over ”
