“Located right in the town.. Close proximity to many restaurants and party spots. Cheffy is the host and he is very helpful. He recommended spots for me to visit and was very attentive whenever he was needed. You can also drive to Secret Beach from here and its about 40mins by golf cart but I recommend the drive because its very scenic and you get to see the island.. I'd definitely recommend here for the price and the location and knowing you can get assistance from Cheffy.”

“Great Location and Rooftop Patio. Rooms were spacious and clean. Owner was very accomodating to our early checkin and transfers to and from the airport. We were able to book a golf cart directly through them with ease. Would recommend.”

“Basically, everything works at the Mayan. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean with well equipped kitchens, and while it’s not in the least bit luxurious, it’s very nice. Reaching for just a couple of small complaints, there’s a bad odor on the lane outside the only entry/exit, and you have to knock on the window at the entrance if you want the water turned on so that you can rinse the sand from your feet. But, hey, it’s San Pedro! You could pay a lot more and still not beat the convenience,……

“Aruna Resort & Villas is a beautiful place to stay if you’re visiting San Pedro. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating and cater to your every wish from the front office of Rose and Suzy, to the wait staff and boat captains. We never waited more than 10 minutes for the boat to come and pick us up to take us to San Pedro or back to the resort. The resort is beautifully landscaped. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the views are wonderful. Truly a vacation to remember. ”

“Pretty room. Kitchen was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Mosquitoes were fierce! It would have been nice to have shampoo and soap for the shower. Walkable to nice beach and restaurants. Would stay again.”

“While no TV, o stayed in room Puma and it was nice. Patio opens for a nice breeze and a comfy vibe. Hammocks available but complimentary water is hot and there’s no ice. Otherwise a value.”

“I came to celebrate my birthday & had such a pleasant experience. All of the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The room was clean and had everything I needed (water, microwave, fridge). The location is also walking distance from a lot of bars & restaurants. It wasn’t loud or crowded near the hotel which is a plus. I’m definitely coming back!”

“The hotel was just alright, the other Sun Breeze hotel just south on the beach looked a lot better and had a really good restaurant. We purchased the ocean front suite but got a room with a bunch of palm trees and a view of the neighboring hotel’s room, so I recommended just booking the standard room instead if you really want to stay here. We reached out to the hotel to see if we can transfer to the standard sun breeze hotel and never heard anything. Felt like as soon as we signed for the……

“Amazing staff, great tacos, great location. Rentals for golf carts and excursions were higher than others around town. Would definitely go back!”

“Our room was clean, but some of the common areas were a little "dusty" - probably typical for San Pedro as most streets are not paved and foot traffic drags in some dirt. Large kitchen & dining areas available - perfect for large group to gather. Swimming pool was a nice addition, however some of the lounge chairs needed repair - missing umbrellas on the pool side tables. Staff was friendly and shuttle to the airport was much appreciated. The Spa & Massage facilities available by appointment……

“Unfortunately, the major complaint was the noise coming from the kitchen area very late at night. It started upon arrival, but we did not know at the time where the noise was coming from or what it was. It sounded like someone moving furniture and metal dropping to the floors, etc. In additional loud voices. It reached a peak on Saturday, April 25 going into Sunday morning at 1am. “Stayed in Cabana 4 for a week in January, room was excellent, bed was firm and comfortable. Staff on site were excellent and enjoyed the daily breakfast either sitting on the porch or at the tables set up by the pool. Location was great, casual and fun truck stop literally across the street and the always excellent rum dog a couple of minutes away. 2 grocery stores within 5 minutes and a fridge in the room for your drinks. 2nd time in Belize, this is a perfect, quiet, relaxing property with easy……
