It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Although no parking is available outside the front of the cottage, we had no problem parking in the road outside under the bridge as suggested. We enjoyed the walks along the Humber with the path starting right behind the cottage. "A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk."

"Exceptionally clean room, comfy beds, great choice at breakfast, good food and all staff helpful except the staff member helping with breakfast on Friday morning on the 25th September. I understand my grandson and l didn’t get down for breakfast till 8.45 and they finish serving at 9. However, the staff member kept giving us warning times, we could have been allowed 5 minutes to finish but we got a 4 minute warning, literally, and she made us feel very uncomfortable and was obviously saying it for our benefit. Otherwise a great stay and the reason we have given 4 stars, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Thanks to everyone else who was lovely and very helpful. Diane and Paul."
