「This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back 」

「A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.」

「I stayed here with my two sisters for two nights. Very nice, clean, warm, property: comfortable beds and excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Although we ate out, the kitchen was very well equipped is needed. Ideal location - easy to find and very easy to park in the designated space. And a short walk to all the delights of York.
Owners were very accommodating when I asked to slightly change our booking by one night due to a funeral - this was a great help. Would definitely recommend for...
