「Wonderful place」

「Hotel well maintained and in excellent central position for visiting Goree Island and African Civilization Museum. Breakfast was well provided for, staff helpful. Small niggle - though I booked a standard room it did say it came with balcony and it felt somewhat claustrophobic without one. I was too tired to mention this to staff on first day and as I had only booked for a few days I let it ride.」

「THE GOOD: Studio was very clean and spotless. Cleaning by housekeeper was excellent. Very good breakfast with a range of options. Moussa and Moudur ( driver) were helpful and kindly Most staff were friendly. Very convenient location. NOT SO GOOD: Unfortunately, my luggage was lost for 3 days and it would have been very helpful if the hotel offered the use of the minibus so I could check at the airport. Sadly no. Studio was badly structured, no flow, door to bathroom only opened halfway, so...

「High ratings from reviews made me pick this place, but upon arrival at 3 am, I felt like it was a hostel. The bed was tiny, the bedding itchy, and noise began at 6 am, as it’s on a very busy street, with car horns and alarms. I went to the meager breakfast across the street at their somewhat swanky restaurant and was only able to eat fast, as my tour began early. I was about to leave with a banana to go, and was told by 4 waiters, that I could not bring food from breakfast. That was the banana...
