「Stunning rural location. Very peaceful. Really clean room and hotel.
Reception wasn’t open so had to go to the bar to check in. This wouldn’t have been a problem if there hadn’t have been a huge queue of people waiting to order food and drinks. One young member of staff, in a very busy bar/restaurant, having to deal with it all. That said, he was lovely and very helpful. It’s the only criticism.
This is a great hotel. Fantastic views from the outside seating area. Would definitely return....

「Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village.
Staff were extremely helpful.
We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return.
Both were accommodated for.
Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! 」
