“Great stay!”

“I really liked how I had three beds and the setup of the room was lovely. The only thing they could better is how they clean the rooms. I didn’t smell any bleach at all. The room smelled like old people and urine.”

“I felt it was a very small room we stayed 4 days asked twice for our room to be cleaned in that time not 1 proper cleaning only trash taken 1 time and towels swapped 1 time was done. all public areas were very clean it's very modern but not really overly comfortable”

“I’ve used truckstop bathrooms that were cleaner in the bathroom that we had in our room! That’s not even the worst part, the carpets need to be desperately changed. The entire room smelled of urine. It was difficult for us to even stay in the room. I would’ve left immediately but the entire town of Sandusky had been booked up. I will never say this hotel ever again. I am warning all of those who look for cleanliness, this is not the place.”

“My issue with the hotel is it stated it could sleep 6, but could only sleep 5 uncomfortably at most. I had to check out immediately and go to the Holiday Inn next door. It felt reasonable to be given some sort of refund but I have received no response to multiple outreaches since the person at the desk was unable to help me since the owner was the only one who could. The room would have been fine for my wife and I, but I had four kids with me.”

“We had a pleasant stay. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was on the better side of a typical hotel breakfast. The coffee was very good. Fitness center was very typical for a hotel. Did not use the pool. Hotel was clean.”

“The bathtub in my room was disgusting. I left to get some Comet and clean it myself. I scrubbed for about 15 minutes before I got it to a place where I could consider taking g a shower, but it still needed further cleaning. Absolutely filthy. To be fair, I didn't even try the breakfast as I didn't trust the facilities to be clean after seeing the tub. The dirt I scraped off the tub turned to mud. It's obvious no one is checking the cleaning of the staff. I stay in about 12 different……

“Breakfast was the worst. We went out to get breakfast instead. Our refrigerator wasn’t working. Bathroom wasn’t clean. Check-in wasn’t friendly.”

“Weird self-check-in arrangement--no reception desk or staff, just an e-mail with a code to let yourself in & out and a phone number in case you need anything--very impersonal, but o.k. if you don't like dealing with people. Fresh, tidy, and trendy inside. Bedside reading lights and a chair to sit on would be nice (stools at the counter are too high for tying shoes), as would a light outside the door that doesn't attract bugs. Bed seemed short and sheets were crinkly and starchy. Adequate……

“We ran into a few problems with our room and notified the office and Scott at the front desk immediately and with friendliness attended to our requests! Rhonda was super sweet and attentive in serving breakfast! The beds were comfortable and the evening was quiet. Very pleased to stay at this Super 8”
