“My issue with the hotel is it stated it could sleep 6, but could only sleep 5 uncomfortably at most. I had to check out immediately and go to the Holiday Inn next door. It felt reasonable to be given some sort of refund but I have received no response to multiple outreaches since the person at the desk was unable to help me since the owner was the only one who could. The room would have been fine for my wife and I, but I had four kids with me.”

“Loved the welcoming atmosphere, beautiful hotel, clean waterpark, location , and kind staff. Only issue i encountered was housekeeping, I was not informed we had to request housekeeping and when you do, must tell them what to clean. I called and informed them to make beds, sweep floors, and replace towels: we get back from Cedar Point and all the dirty towels are still on bathroom floor. Please update housekeeping guidelines.”

“Breakfast was good however there is no where to eat so be prepared to carry it back to your room. Otherwise the rooms were updated and clean. TV small but good selection of channels. Bathroom and shower very good. Lots of clean towels. Will come back and recommend for anyone looking for a no fuss motel.”

“It took about 20 minutes of waiting for a staff member to come check us in for our stay. We pressed the button on the phone and called the hotel and finally someone came to the desk. The hotel was understaffed for the night and the employee seemed overwhelmed. She was very nice and pleasant when checking us in. No problems with our room at all. Breakfast was also fine. When we went to check out we had to press the call button again because the employee was not at the front desk.”

“The hotel is family owned and operated. They are all very helpful very kind and very, very attentive to their guest. We have stayed here multiple times and every time we really enjoy being their guests as last time it was bike week so it was a little bit louder than normal, but all in all still a great place to stay very well located and the other times that we’ve stayed there. It was very quiet. We will continue to stay here anytime we are in Sandusky. We recommend a place to all of our……

“This is a cheap motel option. The motel rooms are minimal with uncomfortable beds. They did have a working mini fridge and microwave. The room had been lightly cleaned but obviously not deep cleaned or updated in awhile. Their indoor rooms were large with fridge and microwave but the internet was terrible the bed skirts were dirty (appeared to be food). The staff was friendly and I will say their outdoor pool was clean and had a fun tropical vibe with covered picnic tables and vibrant lounge……
