Enkele praktische aandachtspunten: de verduistering van de gordijnen was beperkt, wat in de lichtere zomermaanden minder comfortabel is, en de douche-afvoer liep vrij traag. Daarnaast gaven de foto’s de indruk dat het verblijf direct aan het water lag, wat in werkelijkheid niet zo bleek te zijn. De communicatie via Expedia verliep wat minder vlot. “We were just charged 1200 euros and sent a scathing email from the owner. He accused us that we created a floor stain— a stain that we noticed too. He also stated that the house was messy.
