Lovely accomodation, enjoyed the sauna- real treat. Comfy beds. Everything we needed. Good communication with host.
Area was great, enjoyed walk to pub, friendly owners.
Lots to do close by. Loved our walk round Paxton pits.
Equipped with fun decor and an attentive host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the English countryside. Friendly people at the local pub, great walks in and around the country, and accessible to Cambridge. Will go again!
No 11 is delightful. It is well furnished and extremely comfortable. Andy is a terrific host and very good at communicating. Having the village shop just round the corner is useful and the cottage is conveniently located to explore the area. If you are tall though, you need to remember to duck, as it’s an old cottage (albeit really well renovated) but the doorways and beams are low.
Had a lovely Xmas eve through to Boxing Day, didnt get a chance to use the sauna unfortunately but log fire was lovely. Beds very comfy, but sofa bed quite firm.Andy very communicative and friendly Would recommend.
Lovely stay. Everything you needed. Sauna a plus . Beautiful walks . Cambridge city amazing, we did the park and ride . Punting on the river was such fun. Lots of nature reservoirs a short drive from cottage. Lovely meal at The Poacher , Elsworth.
The owners have put a lot of thought into furnishing the property so that it is comfortable yet retains a lot of the original period features. It is particularly suitable for families but couples are also catered for. The local shop is an absolute gem and carries a huge range of stock. The only suggestion for improvement is that a clothes dryer would be handy, particularly is wet weather.
A lovely cottage where every need has been thought through. The log fire made the stay a very cosy one. The location is great with very close amenities. Would definitely return.

peaceful and perfect
A beautiful cottage: small, well equipped, comfortable. Andy is the perfect combination of helpful but not intrusive. Eco friendly too. Definitely worth a stay.
Our stay was very comfortable and had just about everything we needed for a great stay. The place is dog friendly. Communication with Andy was good, we had one minor issue which he came and resolved as soon as we flagged to him
We ’re a family with two small children visiting family in the area. #11 was the prefect spot for us. The house is lovely & the hosts helpful. The village itself had everything we need - from a local store & charming pubs nearby to charming country walks on the doorstep.
We’d 100 percent recommend a stay and look forward to returning ourselves.
Vrbo too techy for me and I didn't use the app. The place was great thanks and Andy and I communicated by text the staff at Vrbo were helpful when I phoned them.

Really great to stay in this lovely little cottage
We (a family of three and our dog) had a wonderful stay here. The cottage is really lovely and the village Great Gransden too. Our dog loved the little garden with a good closed fence all around. Not to forget our host Andy. He is always around if you need him and gives us good and helpful hints to discover the area around the village.
Tanks a lot Andy and maybe we see us again
We had a fantastic stay (2 nights) at no11, a lovely 2-bedroom cottage located in a small village within a short distance from Cambridge. The cottage is extremely well-equipped with all amenities (great shower and modern kitchen) and decorated with great taste and originality. The village is quiet and the back garden was much appreciated by our golden retriever puppy, who was an accepted guest by Andy. The home made bread was tasty and a nice touch for breakfast. The small food shop in the corner street provided the necessary for the remainder of our breakfast. We will definitely stay there again.

Relaxing stay away from the city
Very welcoming host and very helpful from the point of booking right until we drove away. The cottage is beautiful and well equipped. Modern and still loads of character. Garden was lovely our 19 month old son and our puppy enjoyed it loads. Most comfy bed I've ever slept in.
Lovely village shop a stones throw away provides everything you need esp their fresh bread yum. We'd certainly be returning when a break is needed for, the busy London life.

Lovely Stay
My husband and I with our two grown up children stayed at this lovely cottage on Friday and Saturday night. We were attending a family wedding nearby. Didn’t want for anything. Everything was clean and welcoming. Andy the owner met us and was very informative. We used both bedrooms and the sofa bed for sleeping all of which were comfortable. Plenty of hot water, a good shower and we used the hair dryer provided and the iron and ironing board. Only used the kitchen cooking facilities for breakfast, tea, bacon rolls, cheese and ham croissants but everything there we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to return if we were looking for accommodation in the area.

Charming place to stay
Very comfortable and charming cottage. A mix of contemporary furniture and decoration in an old property that really works. Quirky collections of items, personal stereos, cameras, radios are a great touch. Very comfortable bed.
Good shower, well equipped kitchen. Perfect base to explore the area. The only niggle is that the local pub only does food on Friday, Saturday,Sunday, ( we stayed Tuesday to Friday) and it is Indonesian. The food is fantastic but I didn't want to cook each night as I was on holiday! The Eltisley is nearby, in Eltisley, and Gamingay too, if you want to drive out to eat, but after a full day sightseeing we wanted to flop a five minute walk away. Andy was a great host, very helpful drying our washing for us. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this property.

Perfect little cottage
The visit was so we could do a flight at Duxford. We brought mum & Dad, and spent a few nights in the cottage. Shame the pub was closed! Andy provided freshly Baked bread and chocolates which went down nicely with the ingredient we managed to buy at the local shop to make a lasagna, and we used some great spices from Andy spice rack, we drank wine on the Sunny Patio, is was lovely. But beware of a few Mosquitoes, top tip (have spray, handy) The facilities was perfect, Beds were very comfortable. And for breakfast we also had nice croissants baked especially for us by the village shop. in all couldn’t of asked for better. Mum , Dad my Husband and I has a great time.
Thank you Andy.
