“I have stayed at South Seas many times over many years, so it makes me sad to say I will NEVER go back. The pictures that are portrayed of the unit are all lies! The place is like a ghost town. It is filled with construction workers. Worse yet, you do not have access to the resort or any of its “few” restaurants. You are not told any of this during booking. The pool that you do have access to was filthy. I spoke with the registration person who admittedly took some responsibility for the fact……

“Overall, the condo was almost perfect. Very clean, well stocked, lots of supplies, very comfortable and very well furnished. Plenty of parking. Office checked on us regularly to make sure all was going well. The one thing about the set up was that the washer/dryer was on the screened porch and there is no light so needed a flashlight to do laundry in the evening, a minor inconvenience. The only disappointment was that I was looking for ocean view which is how it was advertised. I wanted to sit……

“The unit was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and it was well appreciated. We were close to many restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The bike riding in Sanibel is fantastic. The bikes provided worked flawlessly. The bike paths are so well laid out and made getting around easy. Parked the car when we got there and didn’t move it till we left. Perfect vacation ”

I did have some confusion as to how to make the payments. In all my past bookings through Vrbo, they took care of the payments, using my credit card. This my misunderstanding. It all worked out fine as I worked through the owner of the property. ”
